Hades rolled his eyes. He wasn’t for playing games–at least not when he didn’t feel like it. Her snide remarks weren’t welcome today. Her comment about wasting away to nothing caused him to frown more. Had he not treated her well all this time together? She did a few measly tasks for him and he provided a place to live, food to eat, let her roam Earth as long as she returned to do his bidding. And yet she was wasting away? “I could make that happen faster,” he threatened in a calm tone–his voice like silk as he let the words roll off his tongue. “If that’s what you’d like.”
❛ yeah . . . thanks, but no thanks. ❜ if there was a shred of HONESTY built within megara’s foundation, if she held the capacity to be truthful with herself -- perhaps this constant bitterness would have not been directed towards the deity who stood before her. the real animosity lies from within, & had been created by her own choices. perhaps she truly did recognize this, maybe it was just easier to take it out on him rather than take responsibility. a quiet, almost silent sigh is released from the woman's lungs. ❛ someone sounds eager to get rid of me ❜ she’s only half - joking, of course. however, there’s still an ironic smile crawling upon on crimson - painted lips as if her own comment amuses her.
