Listen I don't know if it's because of my sinus infection after my wisdom teeth being taken out but I'm irrationally angry about the state of kpop lately

Hybe is totally or semi responsible for actual groups with talent and skills disbanding (GFriend in 2021 and soon to be Fromis 9 when their contract goes up in July) and has also shaped the industry to value visuals and 2 minute songs/ short form content over like....actual vocal skills.

As a fan for 12+ years maybe I'm also getting old but kpop is trying too hard to appeal to wider audiences and their songs suffer for it/ have no staying power

#a 2 minute song will guarantee I forget about it within a month#3rd gen is peak 4th is dance battle central and 5th is so meh#don't even get me started on the number of minors
