Hey we’re not dead!

Looks like we will probably never be becoming back to this blog due to the site’s impending doom. I actually only logged in just now to deal with a weird glitch and figured I’d write up an update to let you know how we’re doing while I’m at it.

Our dude Janusz is alive and well and pursuing a degree in archaeology! He did an excavation over the summer, just finished an experimental archaeology project, and it was awesome! He’s not out of the woods yet but we’re certainly a lot further along than we were this time last year!

since tumblr is dying we’re not really sure where to take our social media from here on out. this blog is so old I think it stands a good chance of being purged, but here are some alternatives:

Janusz made a twitter here: https://twitter.com/JanuszBogumil we still have no idea how to effectively use twitter though? he imagines eventually taking his art here? I don’t know we’ll figure something out. Where do artists build a following besides tumblr? asking for a friend

I made a tumblr here. it’s really small so i think it is less likely to get purged. Also it has some of our most recent art if you want to check that out.

need help getting out of debt

ok so by now I really hope that ppl realize that this is something that I really hate doing and only turn to it as a last resort but I need help again due to my college workload making it impossible to fit a job within my schedule and having no alternate access to income

this one I admit happened because of a careless mistake I made of not turning off an auto-renewal option on an antivirus software and getting charged automatically as a result - if I go on without alleviating this overdraft I could be charged $39 more for it cause fuck banks I guess

anyway, if anyone could inbox me for my paypal info and offer a hand with this, I would really appreciate it 💕

I really hate doing this again but I have literally no other source of income

I’m autistic, depressed, jobless, and barely managing to stay at a stable academic position in college

my family has no disposable income to give me because my brother keeps mooching off of them so that he can buy pot, and finding a job at this time would just make my time management even harder with the new semester starting

in addition to the debt on my chequing account, I’ve also got a credit card payment coming up next month that will also result in credit card debt if I dont have funds for it by the 10th

if anyone is willing to help me pay off this debt before it gets worse (if a number appears in parentheses that means it’s in the negatives), then please PM me for my PayPal info, as I’m paranoid about posting it publicly

Help us not end up living on the street

[ 12/27/17] My disabled datemate and I (who are both trans) are suddenly being kicked out without warning (again). We are on a waitlist for public housing (4th as of several weeks ago, I’ll be checking that and updating this post if I find out something as soon as I can). We were told we would be able to stay here until February initially, but after being blamed for something we had no control over we are suddenly being told that we only have a week to find somewhere. Even if we weren’t being forced to leave though I think we would be doing our best to, it doesn’t feel safe here at all right now.

Anyway, we REALLY need a place to stay. Ideally in or around Pennsylvania, but we would definitely accept an offer from someone outside the state if that’s all we got. We have a little more than $500 right now, and I think I’m capable of making about $150 a month right now if I have access to somewhere I can setup my computer and Internet, we also have food stamps so we can feed ourselves if we’re able to find a way to get to a store once or twice a month and are given a space to put and prepare food. I am more than willing to cook or clean for anyone that has a room we can use, although I’m not very abled myself so there’s a limit to how much I can do.

We would be so grateful for help that I can’t really express it. We’re so close to having something resembling stability if we can last until we get through this waitlist. My datemate is currently in the process of appealing an application for disability which could also lead to stability if we’re lucky, we just need more time.
