[TUTORIAL] How to create fake varsity patches
What you’ll need:
- Backing fabric (I prefer to use heavy white bridal satin)
- Contrast thread (standard sewing thread works fine)
- Standard craft felt that matches the colour of your thread (bought from Michael’s)
- Lightweight “LITE” Heat n Bond (bought from Michael’s)
- Sewing machine that has zig-zag stitching, preferably programmable so you can change the stitch spacing and width
- Iron and ironing board
