The attorney just smiled as he adjusted his blue suit jacket as he stood up.

“Trust me, I know exactly how you feel. But please, do lead the way… I’m not the best with new places.”

[Vale Police Station - 7:32 PM]

They had arrived at the station in record time. Hei silently wondered if he broke some laws with how fast he drove his truck. Talking with an officer, he pointed both men to the Detention Center. It didn’t take long for them to speak with Mitsune.

“Boss! W-Why are you here? How did you find out?”

“I look after my own, kiddo, you know that. Mitsune, this is Mr. Wright, a Defense Attorney. He’s here to help.”

“Wright? As in Phoenix Wright, the same man who handled those cases dealing with the Kurain and that dark spirit Dahlia Hawthorne?…this must be a coincidence…or perhaps it’s fate.”

Phoenix was slightly shocked at the speed they got to the Center. He allowed Hei to do the talking and followed his lead around their Detention Center. It did feel a little different for Phoenix, but he adjusted quickly and when he finally saw his new client, he smiled softly at the lack of introduction required.

“Yeah, I’m that Phoenix Wright. It wouldn’t surprise me if me being here to help you out was fate, however what Mr. Xiong said said is true, I want to help you out. Can you describe to me what happened?”

Mitsune looked down. They didn’t want to think about what happened; it happened too quickly, everything was going to too fast for them. Still, they knew the men before them were good men and they just wanted to help.

“What can I say…I went to my clan’s temple because my grandfather called me there. He wanted to ask me about my plans as the current heir of the Akagi Mystics and where I wanted to lead the clan. When I got there, the place was quieter than usual, like there was no life in the area. When I arrived at the main hall, my Grandfather was already dead.”

The veteran lawyer rubbed his chin as he listened to what they had to say, his gaze focused on the floor as he tried to work out the situation Mitsune found themself in. 

“So you were called by your grandfather but someone beat you to him? I see... Can I ask you about the Akagi clan? It may prove crucial for the case.”

“AND YOU’RE DOOMED TO LIVE AS THE DEVIL!”

“AT LEAST I NEVER LOOKED LIKE A HOBO!”

“AT LEAST I HAD A FAMILY AND A DEVELOPED BACKSTORY!”

“And here I thought my sarcasm was obvious - yours is far worse.”

“I was talking about you speaking with your mouthful…”

“Hmm, weird….thought i heard someone talking…you shouldn’t make excuses to bully me, Mr. Meanie Wright.” 

“I was telling the truth, actually.”

“FIGHT ME, YOU TALKING FOREHEAD!”

“THAT’S FUNNY COMING FROM THE GUY WITH THE DEFORMED HEDGEHOG LIVING ON HIS HEAD!”

“AND YOU’RE DOOMED TO LIVE AS THE DEVIL!”

“HOW ABOUT I SUE YOU FOR THE BLATANT INSULTING OF MY APPLE JUICE?”

She actually finished her food this time to speak. “But I have proof of that~! Hah!! So you’ll believe it whether you want to or not!!! Now quiet or you’ll come back home to nothing but a fridge full of orange juice!”

“I was talking about you speaking with your mouthful...”

“Sorry, can’t hear you over the sound of dumping all your grape juice in Charley’s pot.”

“Apple juice is the best juice. Case closed.”

“I’ have employed a five-year-old confirmed.”

“I’ll haf joo know daf I am NIYETEENF, thanf joo verr much!!!!” She declared, waving her fist while still chewing.

“Mhmmm, I’m sure you are nineteen, Athena. I’m prepared to believe that at any time... besides this time.”

“And I’m the most famous and arguably the best lawyer Los Angeles has to offer. Now quieten down and eat your hamburgers.”

“1-800-Did-I-Ask!!!!!” 

“Orange juice is still better than grape juice everyone knows that can’t believe these disgusting lies I hear from my own Boss how I could be betrayed like this?!” She mumbled as she continued eating the sushi hamburgers
