7 Years On

Art by me fren: @papaemeritusballlz

"As humans, we are all faced with the ephemeral."

My first exposure to his acting roles was back in 2013, when I had gotten a pirated copy of Star Trek: Into Darkness, and watched it on a tablet barely holding on from its shitty battery here in a town the Philippines. Back then, sci-fi (and by extension Star Trek) wasn’t really a genre I really knew nor was interested in, up until I saw him play a certain “Pavel Chekov”. As someone on the spectrum, the way he portrayed Chekov greatly stuck with me, as a young pre-teen who shared the same mannerisms and quirks. Growing older, I began to delve deeper into more of his filmography. I began to appreciate his dedication to the art of acting, and immediately became a fan. Even outside of this craft, he became an inspiration for me. And after 7 years since his passing, he still is.

Rest in peace, Anton.

-the Weight of Legacy-

My second remake of a work by Beksiński. I love doing Ghost Beksiński crossovers so much, this certainly isn't my last.

I made this because today I was unable to make any progress on the commissions, a complete block, so I let off steam on this piece of work I'd left on hold in my WIP files.
