They rise from the deep, hair up and ties loose, trading fur coats and diamond chokers for dark leather and scaling rope. Four families, some old wealth, some nouveau-riche: Europe’s finest, their luxurious facades of velvet and gold masking a far darker truth. Their names echo on a hundred million lips, gods of silk and lace, but always for their gilded masks, not for the sins they commit in the night.
They’ve been to the museums, the banks, the isolated manors with their black dogs and gilded keys. They’ve stolen your necklaces, your jewels, the prized heirlooms in your vaults and your safes. Watch out for them. They leave no fingerprints, no evidence, no locks unturned. These are the world’s greatest thieves, and they’ll have your heart and soul along with the carpet beneath your feet, before you can say “m a g i c”.
They’ve been everywhere. But there’s always more to take.
