Married to Loki, who posts/reblog things that make her happy or can relate to; Basically a psychodelic trip inside my mind.

You want more minority representation in media but if they have flaws its problematic and if theyre perfect theyre a patronizing mary sue. If they crack under the pressure of the conflict the author thinks that minority is weak and if they overcome the adversity they must be a neoliberal bootlicker who thinks real world bigotry is a matter of personal attitude. You want minority characters but if theyre a villain its violently problematic and if theyre the protagonist then we circle back to the very first sentence. If theyre a side character theyre being sidelined and the author is once again bigoted, and don't you know that every single minority character death is unilaterally bigoted, without exception? You want more minority characters but if their identity is a big part of their personality or struggles then they're problematic and if their identity has nothing to do with their personality or struggles then the author is tokenizing that identity for clout. You want more minority characters but every time theres a minority character who doesnt have every single experience that you have then you tell the author to kill themselves on twitter. You wonder why not even minority authors will write minority characters.

I would ask you to read Catch-22, but you'd just call the military base problematic.

Shoutout to the radish guy in Spirited Away for deciding to go all the way up to the top floor just to make sure Chihiro was safe when presumably he had other shit to do and could just have easily decided this little girl's safety was Not His Problem.

I didn’t realize that was what he was doing !!!

Yeah, he's a customer of the bathhouse, not even a worker, and as such has no need to go to the top floor where Yubaba is. But he stays on the elevator with Chihiro all the way to the top, and even looks around when the door opens as if to make sure the coast is clear.

The fact that he's a radish spirit also means he probably has a strong smell, which would mask Chihiro's own human smell that the other spirits keep picking up. So the Radish guy basically kept her safe until she got a job from Yubaba.

And he doesn't even work there.

This was his time to relax.

And he took time out of his day to make sure a little kid was safe anyway.

This guy for anyone wondering

Being in your 30s and childfree is apparently so triggering to my dad.

He keeps having these conversations about how he’s looking at himself in the mirror and noticing how old he’s getting and then talking about how I need to understand why other people have kids and respect how much responsibility their under and I’m like yes….I totally get it.

Honestly its why I’m pro choice….because I know accidents can happen and I KNOW there are women out there who were forced to have kids when they weren’t ready…so being able to have access to an alternative option is I think personally better if you know you do.

I know abortion is a touchy subject and honestly it is a personal decision but that’s the thing…that is literally what being pro choice is about…its not being pro abortion…its fighting for the right to make that personal choice yourself…instead of the government making laws forcing you to choose what to do with your own body.

Anyways, not sure where I was going with this but yeah, women should be able to make that choice themselves.
