remember in School of Rock where the black girl was afraid to say she wanted to be a singer because she was fat and didn’t want to get laughed at but Dewey was all “who gives a shit, I’m fat too and so is aretha franklin but we’re still valuable and we rock” and then the girl felt better without having to be told that beauty comes in all sizes or some other bullshit. thats the kind of body positivity I’m looking for. tell these babies that they’re worth a damn without tying it to any other arbitrary ideals

Sirius is talking very passionately about his guitar. He often talks about his instruments like they're living people – beautiful women, in particular. You'd be jealous if he weren't always so ridiculously sweet on you. Even now, he talks and he's staring straight at your face, unflinching, that adoring uptilt to his smile.

You're trying to pay attention.

The waitress brings over your drinks and sets them down. Sirius pauses his retelling to smile at her and say, "Thanks so much. Is this one definitely decaf?"

"Definitely," she agrees.

Sirius says thanks again and picks your drink up as soon as she's gone to taste it. He pushes it towards you with a grimace. "Definitely decaf."

You're very grateful for his testing. "It'll taste better with sugar."

He makes a disbelieving humming sound and continues his guitar talk. Something about a cracked neck and how expensive everything is. You laugh in the right places though you're frowning, hands shaking as you try to rip open your sugar packet.

"Here," he says. He takes the packet out of your hand and rips it open with a dexterity that you envy. "So I told this guy, I'm not paying four fifty for it. That's madness. He starts getting smarmy with me," he chuckles and takes a second packet of sugar from your napkin to empty in. "'You know the shtick. If you don't like it, go somewhere else.' S'bad as a fucking scalper."

Guys, we now have official confirmation Rick woke up 3 weeks into the apocalypse. That means Lori and Shane were going at it within 3 weeks like it was no big deal. 3 weeks. 3 motherfucking weeks.
