A meeting in Macau

It seems a twitter user from Japan was in Macau and was able to meet Funassyi!

Funassyi in Macau

Funassyi has been in Macau for the last few days - not sure why, but all will be revealed in time. 

Whilst he hasn’t actually said he is in Macau, the images he has tweeted are from the Chapel of St Francis Xavier in Macau.

Funassyi tweeted it was a very nice church and he would like to live there. Maybe because of the colours?

A large size pyjama funassi

It seems that a big sized Funassyi wearing pyjamas will be released this month, and like the other pyjama funassyi items, this one is awesome too!

The image below shows the new one with the two smaller ones in front of it.

I don’t think I have enough money to keep up... :-(

Getting the most out of Twitter

Scrolling through twitter for images of Funassyi can really be a pain, but the other day I found Twitter has an advanced search function that wasn’t showing up on any of the links in my twitter account.

By using the advanced search you can search a particular account by date or range of dates, weekly, monthly or yearly for example, and filter the search to pictures or video.

Of course you can do a lot more with the search than what I have just mentioned.

Very useful when you want to find a particular type of tweet.

You do need a twitter account though.

Funassyi Funabashi Wrestling DVD

I just found this little gem, and still trying to get all the details, but is seems there is a DVD of the big Funabashi wrestling event from the end of 2015 on sale.

There are two available - one at 5000 yen, and the other at 4,000 yen.

At this stage it looks like Japan only for postage.

LRRH sold out

This was sold out within 4 minutes of going on sale... glad I didn’t want one, but makes for a timely reminder that if anything new is being released to get in early.

Purple Pyjama Funassyi

The Purple Pyjama Funassyi that I ordered just after Christmas arrived in Australia today, postage courtesy of my Mother in Law.  It was a very big box for a small size FunaColle Funassyi.  

Maybe Funassyi Land ran out of small boxes?

Regardless, the box goes in to my collection, as it is the limited edition Christmas box, and the very cute purple PJ Funassyi sits with the other Funassyi in my collection, including the small sized Blue PJ Funassyi my wife gave me for Christmas (I should post the items I was given for Christmas as there were some surprises).

Little Red Riding Hood

Today is the birthday of Charles Perrault who wrote the Little Red Riding Hood story in 1697.  

It can’t be a coincidence that the Red Riding Hood Funassyi was released just days ago. Maybe some clever marketing by a fan of Charles Perrault working at Funassyi Land?

(M) & (L) Sized Regular Funassyi

I have been trying to decide for ages which of the two mentioned Funassyi to buy. I am leaning towards the (M) sized one due to not many good photos of the (L) sized one, but this photo I found on Twitter makes the decision even harder:

Funyassyi visits Funassyi Land...again

It seems Funassyi paid a visit to Funassyi Land again today, after last making an appearance back in December 2015.

A large Funagoro?

Is there to be a large Funagoro in scale with the 90 cm Funassyi?

It seems there might be, and it will cost around $159AUD

New Funassyis - the Red Riding hood one is available now, but no word (that I can find anyway) as to when the others will be for sale.  The Red Riding hood will make an appearance in the Funassyi Land webstore this coming Wednesday.

I really like the one in the jumper with the hat and scarf the most, and might get it if I can. Not too sure about the others - the Funassyi web store assistant (the one in the dark blue, wearing the costume of the web store Funassyi images) isn’t too bad either.

This is from the Gray Parka Service twitter account - it looks like a new type of Funacolle.  My first thought was that Funassyi is dressed as a steam train driver/engineer, which might make it a FunaCOALle if you forgive my play on words. 

There is no further information as yet, so no idea when or even if it will be released.

I hope it will be released on the web shop, as I would really like one of these for my collection.
