Constance had zoned out, not an uncommon occurrence, but it was a relief. With so much going on around her, it was nice to have her mind go completely blank. Until, of course, she was brought back to reality. “Uh, sorry. Was I meant to be listening?”
“Oh. Nothing really important, I guess.
