Happy New Year! This is your yearly reminder that being obsessed with “top/bottom” in fics to the point you ask the author to spoon feed you details about who takes it up the arse is inherently heteronormative and it’s only made worse when you try to apply those notions to fics that are heavy on BDSM (my fics. I’m talking about my fics literally never ask me who tops/bottoms in my bdsm fics you will not like the dynamics if that’s what you’re obsessed with I promise)

Top doesn’t mean dominant! Bottom doesn’t mean submissive! Who tops or bottoms doesn’t tell you anything except who is getting the dick shoved where. And a reminder that for a lot of gay men penetrative sex is not the end all be all. Some gay men will go their entire relationships never having penetrative sex! And that’s okay! There are plenty of ways to get off that do not involve penetrative sex!! This goes DOUBLE for my cishet women who have been convinced that the only way to get off is having a penis shoved inside you.

Let’s take the new year as a chance to change our heteronormative behaviors, learn more about non-penetrative sex, and maybe we can explore fics that aren’t for us!

But I find it strange that Louis brings her back after so many years, do you think this is just to attract attention to the tour or a "simple" way to maintain her closet?

Okay but like…

Can we as a fandom make a big celebration about the 10 year anniversary of these asshole saying “18 months”? I feel like celebrating it would really encapsulate the two things I feel are so vitally important in 1D fandom: being lied to by the boys, and memeing the shit out of our pain.

Again. It’s not until 2025 so we got time but I just think it would be a silly little thing for us to laugh about together.

It’s a like on Instagram and she got a fiancé, can people just fucking let it go soon! I’m so tired of the “Oh my good Louis, you’re so embarrassing!”. No he’s actually just a normal person who don’t act like a teenager who never had a real gf/bf before!

My ex and I like each other’s posts, but guess what, it doesn’t mean we want to get back together! We just have a history and actually care for each other!
