Ohh excellent question! I have been wondering about this myself. I wanna say it's a combination of the fact that he's based on a Flying V guitar which held upside down does look like bunny ears, and the fact that his color scheme is mostly white. But instead of being called White Bunny or something like that, Nordic Bunny sounds more kickaass. Like you would expect a bunny that lives in snowy areas to be white. Probably inspired on artic rabbits too, which are a real thing. And i do agree that the show gives off a Nordic/Scandinavian rock vibe at times... the Molox rock gods in particular do give me that vibe (they remind of the bands Axenstar and Altaria, which i enjoy a lot).

And i think it's also meant to sound kinda silly too... i mean you expect an evil alien overlord to have a really menacing name, but can you really feel threatened by someone who has "Bunny" as part of their name? 😆 (it's ok, i'll pretend to be scared just to humor him).

Which leads me to agree with your other theory... maybe his alien name was something totally different (and more menacing) but it was missheard and translated as Nordic Bunny, perhaps sounded similar to that but it wasn't supposed to be that! 😂

In my AU, the First Serpentine War would actually happen 10 years prior to canon and well, Lloyd was about 9/10 when we first see him in season 1 so it just means Garm didn’t waste a moment to have Koko as his. Can’t say I blame him though.

1. 3 fave ships: well obviously, Lord Garmadon x Misako (from the Lego Ninjago movie), the ship that reigns supreme in my heart since 2017. I got introduced to the Ninjago fandom through the movie, so i tend to favor their movie counterparts. Also Dr. Drakken x Shego (Drakgo) from the Kim Possible series, and Xibalba x La Muerte (gravepainters) from The Book of Life movie.

2. First ever ship: Dr. Drakken x Shego, from Kim Possible. Dear god, i had never really been into ships before... but when i finally shipped, i shipped hard. They were the reason i started having an online presence and posting art online.

3. Last song played: a glorious cyberpunk mix playlist called "Bleed", curated by Oddyseus at youtube.

4. Currently reading: "Go Hex Yourself" by Jessica Clare, also desperately trying to finish the first Dune book and the Siege and Storm book from the Shadow and Bone series. When i read, i read intensively for like a week and get halfway through a book, only to never touch it again for the next 8 months... why am i like this?!?

5. Currently watching: started watching Evangelion with the hubs because he has never watched it before. (Nnnhgg i am weak for mecha genres). Also been meaning to start watching the second season of Loki. I neeeeedddd!

6. Currently consuming: a peach flavored sour ale called Peach Crumble.

7. Currently craving: sushi!!! Always craving sushi 😭
