An Announcement To All My Chernobyl Comrades

I’m on the AO3 waiting list. Archive says that I would get my invitation around or 4th August 2020.

I need advice since this is my first dip into publishing my fanfiction. My fanfics would be all based on HBO Chernobyl and these ships:-

1) Toptunov x Akimov (most of it)

2) Ships between the Pripyat firemen 

3) Some amount of Kudraytsev x Proskuryakov (I know they are minor characters, but still I love them)

4) Some amount of Valery x Boris

5) Dyatlov x Sitnikov 

So I need some advice about how to take prompts, how to ward off abuse, antis and trolls etc. 

(also my prompts to you guys are now your ideas, I won’t take them back)

First of all, send me your email and ill send you an immediate invite. You don't need to be on the waiting list.

Second, you can pick up prompts anywhere: from convos on tumblr, when people tug you in a fandom relevant post that appears like it's asking to become a fic, in tumblr asks, so on. The more active you are, the more prompts you'll see/notice.

As for trolls, I won't go into the whole hatred tales and escapades that some of our comrades feel seriously obliged to engage in. My personal attitude has always been: ship whoever you want, respect other fans, and disregard trolls. Trolls thrive on attention, and our dear fandom has given them enough of that. Don't fight the world's battles, and don't try to change people. Don't try to prove anything to anyone- its pointless. But mostly- don't try to advocate your ship by showing everyone how many people hate you for it. Just enjoy what you're doing. Disregard trolls. And they will die off.
