That perma-smile, one he never thought would falter right now, especially at seeing Isa,- it slowly fell. He could tell they were worried. He'd known something was off about them. Even though he hadn't seen them in so long, he still had every little mannerism of theirs memorized. He knew when they were upset. "Hey..." The brash redhead's hand rest upon their shoulder, and his intent gaze softened. "I don't believe anything that happened was your fault. You were just carrying out orders... and trying to find purpose. You're human. And even if half of them, or none of them were, you always were. Your feelings, whatever they may be on the matter, are valid. And they may fear you now, but they like me." That soft smirk was returning to his lips. "They'll listen to me when I tell 'em you're different. They can be hesitant about you, just like I am about everyone else but you here. But we'll all get over it. As long as you'll be on our side..." Lea's words grew quiet toward the end. His head turned, eyes drifting down to the floor. It wasn't that he doubted Isa. But he was a little scared about how they were to react here. It'd been so long since heavy words had passed between the two; so long since he'd tried to convince Isa of anything. He'd thought those days were over. That they were just childish, stupid memories. The truth was, Lea felt somewhat as though their connection had grown stagnant, while the worlds changed and evolved around them. While THEY changed. But their connection had been frozen in time. So, Lea felt himself picking up old, childish habits, or trying to. He stopped. It was Isa's decision. There wasn't much Lea could say. Well, there probably was. And though, he was always often the relentless one, he kept quiet. He wouldn’t muddle them and their decision making, especially when he could tell just how stressed they seemed to be.
