the fact that oikage is considered a rare pair genuinely astounds me. when i first watched haikyu back in 2019, i immediately picked up on the tension and dynamic between them and thought, “yeah, there’s definitely something gay going on here.” their shared history, the way oikawa pushes kageyama (both intentionally and unintentionally), and kageyama’s intense respect—even obsession—with oikawa’s skills screamed potential for a deeper connection. their rivalry feels so layered, and the way their personalities clash and complement each other is incredibly compelling. why isn't this ship more popular 😢😢
