“Eager?” he mumbles into Kakashi’s mouth.
Kakashi pulls away, hands coming up to frame Itachi’s face, mismatched gaze intense. “I’ve missed you.”
“It’s been a week,” Itachi says.
“I’ve missed you,” Kakashi repeats.
Itachi pulls him in for another quick kiss, but before Kakashi can take it further, he’s sliding out of his grip and pointing towards the vanity. “Drop the information where it belongs and then I’m all yours.”

Kakashi was immediately unimpressed, showing his distaste for the question by rolling his eyes. Love at second sight was more for the romantics of the world. He hadn’t experienced love at first sight, and he hadn’t felt anything close to the possibility of falling in love with Itachi.
Kakashi, refusing to think about Itachi: “Now you sound stupid.”
Gai: “Heh. And that is a response that I’d expect when you know I’m right!”
Kakashi, acting uninterested: “Did you say something?”

Itachi, already pouring two glasses: “Your commanding officer has a tab. You can have anything you like.”
Kakashi, confused: “And I’m sharing my bottle with you?”
Itachi, smiling: “Yes, you are. Thank you for your hospitality, Kakashi-san.”

Itachi: “I'm fine, Kakashi.”
Kakashi: “Ah, forgive me. I wasn't firm enough. I'm carrying you. Don't make this harder for yourself.”

Kakashi: “An empty threat. If you make this difficult, I'll princess carry you through the gate so everyone can see my chivalrous act.”
