Aww, you’re so sweet! Thank you and everyone else who’s been messaging me telling me they miss me. :-( I am indeed super busy with work, it’s one big thing after the other these recent few weeks (floor plan changes, events, I was also ~promoted~ to be in charge of clientelling). Most days I enter my flat and faceplant right onto the bed.It’s all super exciting but I miss my simming friends.

Apparently half of the images on my blog’s theme decided to collectively stop working, and I wasn’t even aware when that happened? >_>
The good news is I have FINALLY gotten over the cold I had (it was one thing after the other since mid-December x_x. The worst part was when I completely lost my voice for over a week), and I also had a problem with my speakers that seems to have sorted itself out one day, so hopefully now (5 years later) I can actually make a video or two, when I get a day off. x-D

I have nothing Sims-related to post so I’ll make a personal post instead! I met Aaminah during the job interview at Michael Kors (we both got it :-)) and we got on like a house on fire! Here’s us being silly during the MK Christmas dinner do on the 4th of December. (apologies for the massive picture)
She’s originally from Sri Lanka so her family is not in England, same as mine. Since it’s Xmas time now, I called us both “Christmas orphans” because we had no plans to do anything, unlike everyone else who’s going to visit family. x-D So she decided to invite me over to hers for Xmas and she’s going to cook me a meal and we’re going to have a slumber party. *heart eyes* I now call her my wife. x-D
I probably won’t get a chance to post tomorrow, so Merry Christmas to those who celebrate!
P.S. I can’t believe metros AND buses don’t run in Newcastle on Xmas day. What kind of nonsense..?
I feel like I haven’t posted in ages! I’ve been busy working. I haven’t had a day off in 3 weeks and I don’t think I’m gonna have one for a 4th excluding Xmas day, lmao. I haven’t dusted my flat in precisely 3 weeks... x-D
Today I was meant to finish at 10:30 but we had to stay late because of a stupid beeping alarm. I had to buy Serena some food so I was that one weirdo who went into a supermarket at midnight to buy cat food....rofl.

It might be a case of the original texture being just a bit small. You can still make your posters the same way you were, but increase the image size twofold. So for example if the original texture is 256x256, make it 512x512. :-)

I love this so much! I am having trouble placing it in the correct lot. The game recognizes it as a custom room, but I can’t place it or purchase it to place it. Same with the other apartment “rooms” you’ve uploaded so far. Is there a trick I’m missing or could a mod be messing with my game? Thank you! <3
Okay so I just did it via my own gallery upload (I previously tested it via my library).
You load up the apartment you’re replacing, in the case of this example, the Medina Studios Apartments one for Your First Apartment.
Then, depending whether you’re placing it from my gallery (if you’re logged into Origin and have access to the community gallery), or placing it from your library (if you downloaded the Mediafire link), you click “Place Room”.
Line it up to match the wall lines.
And voila!
You may need to activate MOO (moveobjects on) if stuff is refusing to place. And I’m not sure why your game is reading it as CC, it should be CC-free. If you’re downloading the tray files (Mediafire link), you need to put them (extract from the .rar file) into your Tray folder in the TS4 folder. You do not put the .rar or the tray files in your Mods folder for this.
One last thing, make sure you have sufficient funds if you have an active household in there.

What's your trick with sharing apartments? I see you don't delete walls but turn rooms into just walls? I hope, I'm clear enough to you, how do you do this?
You have to delete a wall in a room, then rebuild it but not the usual way. You either click a wall piece next to your space and drag the arrow to connect, or you can build 1 piece of wall somewhere else then click it and move to close off the space.
What all packs did you use in your latest post, ("Your first apartment" or something like that) if more than CL? Thank you!

Even if you don’t have all of those, I still advise you to just plop it down and have a look inside. Most of those are literally just 1-2 items. For instance the Foosball table and darts board are from Get Together, so you can replace those with something else if you don’t have Get Together. I believe the only object from Kids Room is the blue koolala on top of the desk (correction, the mirror is also Kids Stuff). I think the only stuff from Outdoor Retreat is the crate of stuff by the TV, tub of kitchen stuff on the counter and the sauce set by the sink. Most of it is decor and is easily replaceable. :-)

1 Bed, 1 Bath. You've done it! You left the parental nest and moved into your very own first apartment! Sure, the carpet has seen better days, the pipes leak and you find occasional crawlies, but the rent is cheap! Just don't invite your mother over... Built for Luc “Babyface” Pace.
The pipes are inaccessible in this setup, so you’ll either have to be okay with constant leaking pipes, or rearrange the furniture.
