So @jamiepridejester and I have been playing with this idea for a little while and the new chapter only fired us up more so everybody give it up for

As stated by Sabrina (seen in the screenshot above) Jekyll is well aware of the effect he has on people and considers it only polite to give into their desires, so now imagine some wealthy lady asking who Lanyon's companion is it their first ball together and if he were available to take their child out for dinner as he seems to be a true gentleman and Lanyon , although taken back by his jealousy, sees an opportunity.

Jekyll gets to take out and connect with the children of influential people while receiving money and sometimes even presents and that only for talking and dining with them.

(Which like who does not want to do that especially because we imagined that at this point in his life he would still be at university and would not mind the extra money).

Of course word gets around of Jekyll's services and even more people come to Lanyon for a night with his friend, which obviously only makes his jealousy worse resulting in a lot of anger sex their eventual break up and him breaking Jekyll's heart, who then stops his escort services and with his accumulated money buys his house and starts experimenting again.

But that man was living his best life, free food and alcohol, socializing, late nights and good talks, he felt empowered by all the attention he would otherwise only occasionally get from Lanyon behind closed doors and after their painful parting the only thing he could do was throwing himself back into his work.

Well, you know how the rest of the story goes guys I just think it would fit very neatly in the timeline and spice the drama up even more 😌
