My New Year's Resolution is to graduate from the program I'm in, so from now until December, I'll be largely off Tumblr and other social media while I study.

Apologies to all my friends and mutuals for dropping off the face of the earth like this. But next time you hear from me, I'll be working and fully independent!

Unfortunately, I have a really sad announcement to make. I think many of you have already seen it, based on my notes and inbox, but Scar posted earlier to his YouTube and his Instagram that Jellie passed away earlier today.

Here's the message he posted:

We said goodbye to Jellie today. She was the best cat anyone could ask for. She was my best friend and loyal companion for 17 1/2 years. She got me through so many dark times. She would wait for me to get home from the hospital and slept next to me until I recovered. I can’t express how much I loved her and the hole in my heart now.

Thank you for welcoming her into all of your hearts and she loved being part of the videos and streams with you. I showed her all the artwork you’ve made over the years. She will live on in our hearts and in our Minecraft adventures together.

I don't usually post fandom related stuff on my main, but rest in peace Jellie. She's the cat of my favorite content creator and has been his constant companion throughout many wonderful and trying years.

Pets are so much more than just animals. Thank you Jellie for bringing joy and comfort to Scar. The world will remember you through minecraft, but you were a hero for being a friend to one of its players.
