Sorta unofficial hiatus. I’m now working 2 jobs and have no days off outside Christmas till the end of the year. I’m p exhausted all the time right now, so writing is a no go.

It was a kind of mockery for their roles as healer and patient to be flipped, but he couldn’t abandon a friend while she was distressed. “How about I fetch us something to drink? You can tell me what’s on your mind.”

Jushiro is ambidextrous. He was born right handed but after realizing he had two zanpaktou he made it his mission to use both hands equally as well and would later start doing more and more with his left hand. Now he doesn’t notice a difference.

I’m weirdly into cross stitch.
Jushiro has had tea spilled on him at least once a century since he joined the 13th division. It’s never intentional, but he has a bad habit of flustering the younger officers and staff who bring him his tea. He’s always a good sport about it though, and no one has ever gotten in trouble for accidentally dumping hot tea on him.
“I have passed through fire and deep water, since we parted. I have forgotten much that I thought I knew, and learned again much that I had forgotten.”
“And are you all the better for it?”
“My friend-” What could he say? Deep down he knew there was little he could say after the deep chasm of a hundred years in exile seemed to open between them. He was glad Love had survived, delighted to see how he had thrived despite it all, but that didn’t change what happened. “You seem well.”
Was it impolite to express his pride in Love’s endurance?
“I’m glad you’re alright, in the end. If you wouldn’t mind, I’d like to sit with you a while.”

he looked confused. and it was fucking weird seeing the old man that way especially when he was supposed to be knowledgeable and all. but then again, perhaps this sort of thing was something he’d gotten used to given his extended exposure to the world of the living. ‘ a daddy kink isn’t something crazy just so you know. okay, correct me if i’m wrong but you do know about kinks, right? what they are and that they’re sex related, right?? ‘
“Yes, I assure you I do.” It was almost amusing to see Kensei presume he didn’t, but Jushiro couldn’t fault him for that. Jushiro hardly seemed the type and he knew it.
“Given the fatherly title, I assume this is some sort of...roleplay? Like a consensual power imbalance?” That he understood, Jushiro simply struggled to divorce the word daddy from its more common meaning.

He does, don’t let his ignorance on the daddy front fool you. In his youth he had a more liberal approach to sex, so he’s actually tried a lot of different things.
There isn’t a lot that serves as a massive turn on for him, but he’s open to most activities. He does have something of an oral fixation and he’s very fond of necks too, but neither really qualifies as a kink.
I suppose the most prominent kink outside ‘the norm’ is he loves to get frisky in public. Nothing too explicit, simple things like hands on thighs, inappropriate whispering and heated kisses in places where he could easily get caught. To his credit, he’s never actually been caught, but he has come close.
