Out of the Darkness

In the cold of morning the sun was just threatening to rise above the tips of the coniferous trees. A young man crept ever so carefully around their mangled trunks, stepping lightly over any debris that might give him away, constantly looking over his shoulder. His breath was clearly visible in the cold blue light of dawn.

The Forest Remembers

It started months ago, when three people from the small town of Marsh Hill were found dead in the neighboring forest, each slashed and bruised.

A small investigation was launched, people fearing a serial killer. But no suspects or possible motivations were ever found. Things began to get stranger when the morticians couldn’t agree on any cause of death. The whole situation was like some sick puzzle game with half of the pieces missing.
