how can you say tony was the victim of civil war when in one of the last shots of the movie, he’s chillin in his office, wearing a designer suit, casually ignoring the calls of the general who put all his friends in a highly illegal underwater jail without due process?

Or when it was finally proven that Bucky didn’t do it, but Tony’s just like “eh I don’t care, he’s gonna die”

Did you forget that Tony literally had JUST watched his parents die after being lied to about it for months by one of the people he put his trust in the most? He went to Siberia without Ross knowing to help Steve AND Bucky after he realized that Bucky had been framed which most of you anti Tony haters seem to be forgetting as well. Yes Bucky was innocent, but all sense of reasoning left Tony the moment he watched his parents die in the hands of Bucky who was literally standing a few feet away from him when all that went down. Anybody with a heart and who has compassion should understand why Tony reacted the way he did in that moment. And to the OP, Tony was ignoring the calls because he knew Steve would bail them out, he didn’t want to help Ross in keeping them confined because he never wanted them to be put there in the first place as he stated in the scene when he asked Sam to tell him where Steve and Bucky were so he could HELP THEM! Oh and the outfit he’s wearing is literally a t-shirt with a jacket over it, not a designer suit 😂
