Roxy can feel herself relax as she gets a response. Finally content with her hair, she turns fully towards the other woman. She looks her up and down, suddenly a little intimidated by her familiar stunning good looks. She’s taken aback when she’s offered a hand, a bright smile breaking across her face as she gives it a firm shake. Who would have thought she’d meet a potential friend in a dingy restroom?
“Pleasure ta meetcha, Rose. You can call me Roxy. My last name’s Lalonde too, actually!”
A coincidence? Couldn’t be. Last time she checked Lalonde wasn’t exactly a common surname. Smith? Sure. Johnson? You bet. But there were never many Lalondes running about.
Lalonde, hmm? Well, she can’t say she’s surprised, but she didn’t particularly expect to meet one of the same last names in this city. Perhaps she managed to bounce timelines on her way here? It would be just her luck, knowing her. Instead of voicing her slight complaints, she shoves all of her questions down back into her heart, waiting to be asked at a more appropriate time.
“How coincidental. That means we already have something in common.”
She allows a soft chuckle to shake her shoulders, glad that some people aren’t absolutely awful in this city.
“As much as I’d love to continue talking, I’m sure I’m holding you up from something.”

That feeling when you’ve been sitting on this bias list for three hours… No seriously though, I am so so happy that I’ve finally rebooted this asshole after months and months of talking about it. I’ve had some weird experiences in this fandom, but now that the webcomic is over, I think we’ve chilled out a bit. That being said, I’m so happy that I’ve started roleplaying as Dave again. Homestuck was my very first fandom, and I can’t believe that I’m still trash for these children after all these years. Thank you all so much for welcoming me back into the fandom. ♥

Roxy bites her lip, wondering if it would be inappropriate to speak up. After a beat, her eyes dart down to the sink as she lets out a hesitant laugh.
“Pretty sure they sell their souls to get it perfect every time.”
“Undoubtedly, my dear. Undoubtedly.”
Rose flows easily with the other person’s words, blinking as she got her eyeliner as close to perfect as she could, and then huffing. It’ll have to do. She pockets the eyeliner in her purse, turning to the familiar lady and extending her hand. Make a friend, make a difference, she always says.
“Rose Lalonde. You are?”
