Nemuri quietly enters Jushiro’s room and sets down some tea by him.
“Papa thought you might like something to help sleep,so we made you tea from my herb garden.”
She says in the best whisper she can to not disturb him,though she’s still a little loud. She then holds up a small book.
“Would you like a bedtime story Mister Ukitake? I brought by favorite to read with Papa.”
【ⅹⅲ】〜 He breathed deeply, already going back to his slumber when he heard his door slide open just a bit. Grumbling softly, he peeked with one eye open to spot a tiny girl leaving him a gift. Warm tea.. Though he wasn’t thirsty, he was a thankful.. he might end up drinking some before it would get too cold. As for the story, he was far too tired to register any words that came from the girl’s mouth.
Instead, he simply exhaled calmly, going right back to sleep.

From what he had heard through stories, he never would have guessed that the girl in the tower was the cause behind so many lives becoming a mess.

The hairs on the back of his neck began to stand on end one by one, eyes narrowing as he turned. Since reality had been distorted in such a way, he wasn’t sure where he was.. but these creatures.. the ones clad with masks similar to the Hollows.. They seemed to bow to one woman.
