there aren’t enough posts going around about the swedish cryptid known as the skvader which is a rabbit with pheasant wings and also a very good boy.

like this one dude just made a fake taxidermy and spread it around as a hoax for a good ass while and it lead to this really cool fantasy creature and i am genuinely dissapointed that it never gets used in anything

THE BOY

The lack of skvaders is particularly frustrating when you realize it forms the third point of a wonderful cryptid trifecta.

You got the jackalopes, which are rabbits with antlers.

And you got the wolpertingers, which are rabbits with antlers and wings.

And then… what? Do you escalate? That’s unbalanced, those two rabbit cryptids don’t have the same number of extra things, the wolpertinger is clearly the jackalope But More.

BUT with the skvader on the other side, balance is restored. Antler rabbit, winged rabbit, winged antler rabbit. It’s a classic Venn diagram of imaginary lapine beasts, and it’s only complete if you acknowledge the fucking skvader.

Good thing Ursula’s got our back, at least.

People seemed to like my bi/pan post so I decided to make a similar thing for asexuality! Please know that this is based on my own experiences within the community and I can’t speak for all aces. However I hope this can be a good starter for people to understand. A lot of ace stuff on here is heated arguments and I wanted to get away from that and provide a resource so people can learn without having to wade through the Discourse.

Please note, I intentionally did not include anything about the “is ace queer” debate because it warrants a whole separate post and I want this to be accessible to anybody willing to learn, despite my personal feelings on that topic. Please do not bring your ace/queer debate onto this post, it is not the place. Thank you!!

Prince Roman reminds me very much of my favourite Disney royalty, Prince Phillip! So of course I had to edit some screenshots of him looking the proper Disney prince! <3 And I couldn’t help but add in everyone’s favourite Stormy Knight in place of Aurora! His shield crests were way too complicated and when I drew them they looked too detailed fr the cartoony style so I left them out.

TS Monster Boys: Deceit

Second Monster Boy! So far didn’t forgot to turn on recording for speedpaint so crossing fingers I won’t forgot for the last boy. Deceit was definitely harder, because of so much black I had to work in some shades so it won’t just be flat black on his clothes. I also knew I wanted to incorporate the 6-arms thing as well as Dante (that’s how I call the two-headed snake) so it was a challenge and I’m not sure I’m as satisfied as I was with Remus but I think that’s mainly a matter of how much detail difference there is between those two!
