"Well I know now they're not all bad dogs," he protests. "I didn't know that when I bought mine"

"Maybe you should've just gone to a shelter and see for yourself."

"We'll see. I'll need to have his testing translated, in case someone in Canada asks for them."

“huh what sort of testing?”

"Testing for hips and blood disorders, things of this sort. It's to ensure you get the healthiest pups"

"Oh yeah makes sense. But you know, all puppies are good. I found mine in a shelter."

"I think more people should do that. I would have as well, had I known I could get good dogs." He had assumed for the longest time that if he had adopted, he wouldn't have been able to train them the way he wanted.

"You're making it sound like there's only problem dogs at the shelter... And even so, all dogs are good dogs. You just need to find the right way to treat them and fit their needs." It had always warned his heart to see people take in traumatized dogs and give them a happy life.

Hmmmmm. I. Fucked up.

“So, Ollie, long time no see. How’s stuff? Did you do anything with Halloween?”

“So no preference whatsoever? Then again what am I saying. I know you will practically devour anything I put in front of you.” The amused grin followed, with a hint of eye roll. Admittedly there were times when he worried about Lutz in particular due to his… laziness when it came to these sorts of things. Then again Oliver was a bit of a worrier anyhow.

However once that inevitable question came up, the Brit immediately lit up. “Arthur if you can believe it. He actually asked me last week just out of the blue.”

Lutz snorted. “You know me very well by now. Hah.” He grinned, almost proud. Somehow he took pride in how much he could and somehow not gianing any weight. Or almost none. 

“Oh really? That sounds like quite a surprise! Well, congratulations.” 

“Of course I do, how long have we known each other now? Though I will still never understand certain things about you.” Not gaining weight was the big one especially with as much of a sweet tooth that Lutz had, amongst other things.

“Thank you, I’m still trying to process it and keep thinking that it isn’t even real. How about you? Any news on that sort of front?”

"If it's any consolation, I don't understand everything about myself either." He snorted and nudged him. "Heh must've been quite something. For me? Nah nothing new, still got my girlfriend's tho. Wouldn't know what to do without her."

If I remember correctly it eventually got out.

Apparently this was a rehearsal for the scene, so the extinguisher was a prop one (hence the moment Miranda sassy looks at the camera/crew for how he was acting her in panic), so they went on to it.

But someone had switched the extinguisher to the actual fire thrower that would be used on the scene (I dont remember if was proposital or not or simply a mistake because they were meant to be identical).

So this is their actual reaction, cause when he pressed the valve, he really wasnt expecting to fire come out, neither was Miranda, so their reaction is 100% genuine and they did freak out as on tape.

The thing went out so well they were unable to reenact their reactions or surprise as the first time on rehearsal, so the rehearsal scene was kept and put it into the actual episode.

“It has been a while, hasn’t it? How have you been Lutz? Halloween was pleasant up until a Gray-Face got to me and now... I know I owe quite a few apologies. How about yourself?”

"Huh at least some things happened. My Halloween was very uneventful. I just watched some horror movies by myself. Well, my dog was there. So that's something. But I fell asleep at some point haha."

"Take my word for it, be glad you weren’t around me that night. Poor Maddie as far as I know is still dealing with the ramifications of it. Though, aside from the horror movies depending, that sounds nice. What have all you been up to? You just seemed to have dropped the face of the earth again is all.”

"Huh that sounds like something really bad happened." He just shrugs it off. "Oh, well I guess quarantine really got to me... I juts... I have no idea what I've been doing these past months."

“That bad, huh? You know all you had to do was text me and at least you could have come for a visit just to get out of the house.” Oliver shrugged himself, at least understanding more of what Lutz was coming from. At least for him, despite all of the negative that has happened, there was at least some positive. “Well... I do at least have some news that I think you’d be interested in. You know that bakery that I’ve talked about starting for I’m not sure how long? Well... I finally did it.”

"I mean yeah i could've... Now that you mention it... But I just didn't think of it for some reason. Uh... Nothing personal." A nervous chuckle followed. "Oh really? A bakery? That sounds fantastic! Could you make me some stuff? I'd love to try them." Baked goods were not save around him.

“Not at all, I understand that we’re living in strange times right now and a lot has happened since March.” If anything, Oliver did understand where Lutz was coming from. He was far more preoccupied with his own affairs to have thought to reach out in return. “Of course I can, all you have to do is tell me what you want. I would love if you also came and saw it for yourself, my boyf-- er... Fiancee put quite a bit of time and work into that place to make it perfect for me.”

Lutz smiled, glad Oliver understood what he meant. “Ah, really I like all sorts of baked goods so why don’t you just make an arsenal of baked goods and I’ll try them all, hm?” HE grinned. 

“And what is this I hear, you got engaged? May I know who the lucky man is?”

“I’m not legally blind or deaf but sometimes I need help getting around the city. Black Dog is a service dog and he helps me out greatly. Even if I’m perfectly capable physically, some days I can’t mentally handle certain things, and he helps”

He's quiet for a moment before he speaks. "Yeah but..." Lutz stops and sighs. "I don't need a service dog. It's not that severe."

Ludwig shrugs. He had offered and that was all he could do. "I want to breed Malva, but I need to find a good dam with nice genes. He's slowly coming out of his puppy phase, finally"

"Huh, that's nice. Sorry I can't help you with that. Besides if Grimm were a girl, I don't think you'd want adhd puppies." he snorted.

"He's a handsome lad, but I may have to wait. Being in Canada does increase the odds of separate genes and sturdy stock, but what if I clash with the dam's owners?"

"He sure is. Got it from his dad." He laughed and nudged Ludwig in the side. "Ah nonsense, just put up your charming side, they'll love you. And your dog."

He flinched when getting poked. "Hey! I can't help it, i get distracted by everything."

Another poke, but lighter. "Maybe you have ADD."

He slaps his finger away. "I have ADHD mind you."

"Oh." He had not known that. "well, you could get a service dog?"

He gave him a look. "Ludwig I have ADHD, I'm not blind or have something that severely compromises my daily functionality." Shaking his head.
