elena had to think for a moment, she had never really had to think about a substitute. "cake?" she suggested. "it's not pie, and definitely doesn't take like pie, but that's all I can really think of, unless you like cookies." she grinned, holding up her box. she nodded when he told her he was just restocking, "ah, well hey, if you ever wanna come to a party, my friend is throwing one tomorrow night, and you're welcome to come." she smiled, "it's the least I can do cause without you, I wouldn't have my midnight snack right now." she laughed softly. she opened her purse, pulling out paper and a pen. she wrote down her address and handed it to him. "you don't have to come if you don't want to of course, but you are definitely more than welcome!"
