July 28 prompts: Family / Dustin and his dads

Okay, wow.

I just have to get out my word-vomit now, the taste in my mouth is sour and I’ve held it in for too long.

I’ve noticed people commenting on celebrities photos all around the internet, and luckily most of those comments are nice.

Some tend to be a bit over the top, some sexual and some just plain crazy… And yeah, I wish people didn’t do that.

But… The ones that REALLY piss me off are the directly hateful comments towards women that (mostly) male actors pose on pictures with. The pictures where it could very possibly be a girlfriend.

I’ve seen them on almost every (single) male actor I’m a fan of, when there’s a picture with an unknown female by his side. The latest is yesterday, where Jeremy Renner posted pictures from when he was honored special deputy sheriff. There’s a picture where he’s posing with a beautiful pregnant woman, holding his hand on her belly

Ugly comments started coming in… “Who is she? Get your hands off my man” - “Damn, that bitch is ugly” - “Is that a girlfriend? God, I hope not” - “He deserves so much better” and so on, and so on.

I have only one thing to say: how dare you?

Not only are people talking shit about women they don’t even know. But with their hurtful and hateful comments they also say that the actor shouldn’t be happy with a woman to love.

Wtf?

I know that these comments come from a fangirl-dream of being said actors one true love - shit, we’ve all been having those dreams at one point in our life, we probably still do. But come on guys!

If you are a true fan, a good and a kind person, you’ll wish your idol all the best in his life… ALL. THE. BEST!

That includes girlfriends, babies, wife’s… You name it.

Fair enough if you don’t like his significant other, but don’t voice it out loud like that, especially not where he can read it.

What do you imagine will happen? He reads your comments and think “Oh shit, I surely did make a mistake, I better break up with this woman who I am deeply and truly in love with and instead start to date this completely unknown, random stranger from Instagram”

That’s not gonna happen… And you are not just making a fool of yourself by writing these things, you are hurting a person that you, supposedly, love deeply and also woman who is a complete stranger to you…

I’m not only talking Jeremy Renner fans here… I’ve seen comments like these on pictures with Sebastian Stan, Chris Evans Tom Holland and others… The Jeremy Renner picture is just an example and no, i don’t know who the lady is - but she is beautiful!

You’ve been thinking about it for a while and you trust Eddie, you really do. 

Saving yourself for marriage is not in the question. Saving yourself for the love of your life doesn’t seem probable. So someone you trust is the best case scenario. And you really trust Eddie.

Eddie's borrowed headphones slip down your head as you dance. Nothing dramatic, a shoulder wiggle as you do the dishes. You can't hear the racket you're making, plates crashing into one another on the drying rack, the hot water pounding the basin, the clip of your sock-clad foot against wooden slats as you tap it. 

Your hands burn at the high temperature. Your fingertips are pruned, palms chapped as you finish washing Eddie's mountain of dishes. His whole apartment was in similar disarray before you arrived, laundry to the eyes and one of his haphazard book towers collapsed in the bedroom. The dishes had been scraped and rinsed but not washed, the laundry designated to one corner of the bathroom; Eddie's not unclean, necessarily, but unfocused. 

You had time. You don't mind coming over to help him out. 

Though if he knew you were here doing this he'd blow a gasket. I don't want you wasting your time doing shit I should've done a week ago, he'd say. 

It isn't time that matters to you. You'd take a couple of days out if it helped him, if it meant he could enjoy the place he lives to the fullest extent. Plus, you spend time here too. And you get to borrow his Walkman the whole time. Eddie has the best tapes.

Eddie strokes down the length of his guitar neck almost tenderly. You're focused on his hands rather than his mouth as he recounts last night's date to you, distracted by the deft movement of his fingers, which aren't exactly small. It's an oxymoron —paradoxical, even— that his thick fingers would move with such gentle precision. 

You shift around where you're sitting on his bedroom floor, criss-cross applesauce with an uncomfortable heat rising from the bottomless pit of your stomach to your tight collar. The white button up you'd worn under your sweater vest is a size too small. You're really starting to notice. 

You peel out of the vest and hope it'll help you calm down.

"She wasn't exactly sweet," Eddie says, plucking a string, listening to the sound, and tuning it this way or that depending on how he liked it. "I think she wanted to get it over with, which isn't really my thing. She was in my lap before I could make it clear I wasn't interested in anything quick." 

You lift your gaze from his hands. He must feel you watching his face. He looks up in tandem and smiles reassuringly. "It's fine. I kind of thought she was getting into it, she was like a vampire on me at one point, but I wasn't feeling it and it's clear she wasn't either. Drove her home. How was your night, d'you watch that tape?" 

You trace the coil of a black curl down to his shoulder, and can't force yourself to meet his eyes as you ask, "A vampire?" 

Oh my goodness... I felt every word of this!

I'm weak and i suddenly want Eddie to give me hickeys!

Renner painting

I started this months ago… Then I hurt both my hands and everything went downhill from there.

Tonight I’ve worked it over for what I think is the last time. And yet, I have a feeling that I will go back and fix things… But for now it’s done.

My very first painted portrait

It started with a LOT of pictures…

And then a LOT of glue and a canvas (let me just tell you, that was messy as hell! I had black hands for almost a week!)

Then you need some thinned paint and a cheeky cat…

Starting with a few layers of white all over the canvas, taking focus away from the pictures…

More paint and a tired cat…

And lots, and lots, and lots of thinned paint, making the paint transparent, building up the shading with lots, and lots, and lots of layers (I stopped counting…)

Finally you get a somewhat decent result…

I’d like to think that anyway, taken that this is my first painted portrait.
