(hey everybody, i’m real sorry for going off the radar for the past few months. last semester was kicking my butt, and unfortunately it will be the same way for this semester since i’ll be graduating [whoaaa]. having a semester-long animation project certainly won’t be helping either in terms of art motivation, so i’ll most likely be MIA until summer. even then, i don’t know what will be in store for this blog, but i will be keeping it around because i do hope to return in the future. also, i really want to extend a big thank you to everyone who’s engaged with dailyxatu ‘cause it was blast! i don’t think i’ve said this before, but the poke ask/daily blog community is by far one of my favorite, if not my favorite, communities to partake in. but yeah, that’s my situation for now. if possible, i might update whenever the ol’ inspiration decides to strike, but for now i will say see you till next time :> )

Uh, so I think it’s time for me to announce this, but this blog is either going to go on a long hiatus or begin posting very sporadically. Giveaway is still happening, don’t worry. 

But I’m going into my senior year at college and I’m starting to get stressed just thinking about trying to balance work, my personal art projects, and this blog. I’d love to continue with the daily schedule, but up until recently I’ve been hit with this realization of how hard it is to keep to that. My motivation is fickle. And dailyxatu hasn’t really been... fun for me lately? I think it has something to do with the story aspect of this blog, and also that I had no idea how I would handle interactions when I first started, but it’s turned into a hybrid daily/ask blog. Bottom line is, I think I need a break from drawing Xatus and plot stuff.

I figured that maybe drawing something different/taking a break from here will give me a fresh perspective, so I decided to make another daily-like blog, except updates are far more laid-back. If you’re interested, it’s @whimsicalumbreon, but it doesn’t have any posts yet.

So yeah, I’m sorry everyone. It’s been fun, and I’m so grateful for everything you guys have done for this blog. But this isn’t the last time you’ll see this bird! He’ll be here waiting for you :>

Hey everyone, I’m back with another giveaway! The prizes will be another set of icons, but there will be three slots available this time, 1 slot for a detailed icon and 2 for a simple icon (the examples I used here are from the previous giveaway)!

Here are the rules:

  • You must be following me to enter; new followers are welcome
  • One like, one reblog, and one reply for a total of three entries per person (no giveaway blogs, no entering with multiple side blogs)
  • Pokemon OCs are also acceptable subjects for the icons if you’d prefer that over your daily Pokemon or favorite Pokemon
