Back on my Merthur bullshit and obsessed with their first two meetings and how absolutely weird and unhinged they both immediately were about each other. And how everyone else was just watching this bizarre adolescent homoerotic mating display/mace fight and couldn't say shit because one of them was the prince and one cannot simply tell the prince of one's kingdom how exceptionally strange and gay he is being.
ABBOTT ELEMENTARY | Alex (3.09)
It is finished.
Three words that change the world
Three words that change people lives
Three words that gave hope
Three words that took away my sin
Three words that gave me a future
Thank you Jesus.
My favorite Sp*ffy moment is when Spike watched Buffy and Angel interact again for two minutes in End of Days and it obliterated three years worth of obsessive hope that she might actually love him.
No amount of beating him up or explaining her actual feelings or dropping bomb sized hints could do it but one look at her with Angel and he was like "Oh right that's what Buffy in love looks like. Yeah I was nowhere even close. This is embarrassing."
How anyone can see Buffy's utter relief when Angel shows up in Forever and still not get that he is and always will be the one she really wants and needs and trusts is beyond me. He doesn't even do anything but show up and hold her and listen and she drinks it all in like someone who's been wandering the desert for 40 years. Talk about dark sides and lowest points and all that all you want but there is one person Buffy truly relaxes with, one person she freely offers all her hopes and doubts and fears and messy bits to, one person who can just walk in to any situation after any amount of time and she automatically exhales and hands over some of her burden. No one else even comes close.
You could take this post, change the episode title from Forever to End of Days and each point still holds completely true. Actually, go ahead and change it to Flooded and look at Buffy's reaction at speaking with Angel and knowing she was going to see him.
She told us in Passion that her first instinct when something goes wrong was to run to Angel and that instinct has never changed.
Tell me they don’t look like they’re watching their baby in kindergarten
I love how Gregory is so supportive of Janine but at the same time is always the one to bluntly tell her what she needs to hear when she needs a reality check. They fit together so well and so easily it's ridiculous.
Gregory's "Just for Janine" smile
ABBOTT ELEMENTARY | Willard R. Abbott (3.06)
Janine doing heart hands at Gregory! 🥰😭 ABBOTT ELEMENTARY (2021- ) Season 3 | Episode 6 "Willard R. Abbott"
this is so real
Swim team member after Buffy (rightfully!) broke his nose: "Can you believe that Buffy 🙄?"
Me: Yeah! How dare Buffy not allow you to sexually violate her? The nerve of her 🙄
That whole episode is rage inducing
Well, yeah, that's about the level of reasoning one would expect from someone who tries to sa someone in the school parking lot at the beginning of the school day with people all around. Like, even if you took the assault part out of the equation, how braindead do you have to be to think sex is even an option in that situation? His windows weren't even tinted. Peak moron.
And then TWO different adults scolded Buffy for her outfit, which was obviously within the dress code or Snyder would have jumped at the chance to punish her. And then Buffy's supposed friends (including yet another grown ass man!) couldn't take five minutes to act like they cared and validate her. I genuinely hate Go Fish so much. The premise isn't even good.
Xander in S6: Buffy is going through the most traumatizing experience ever and its all our fault... buy she's back from the dead so that's all that matters, right 😁?
Best friend of the year 🥴
His complete lack of empathy for Buffy really is incredible, isn't it? Especially since he is clearly capable of empathy and just chooses to be completely selfish when he feels like it.
