❛       EDEN…     ❜    IF YOU ASK HIM,    HE’LL DENY THE WAY HIS heart still races when he looks at her.     he offers her a nervous smile;   the corners of his lips twitch upwards briefly before he lets out a breath he hadn’t realised he’d been holding.    she’s terrifying in the best way;    the only person that can make him feel like this.   like he isn’t at the top of the world!    the thing is,   he’d only impulsively gone over to talk to her,   and he had no plan as to what to say afterwards.   he clears his throat before the most vague of questions comes to his head.      ❛    you good?     ❜     he flashes her his signature smile as DAMAGE CONTROL.

 how  terribly  sad  was  this  ?    she  had  been  too  close  to  him  for  too  long  not  to  notice  hints  of  his  behavior  being  out  of  the  normal  for  him .   it’s  tense ,  DOWNRIGHT  AWKWARD ,  &   she  keeps  it  that  way  by  keeping  her  expression  entirely  iced  towards  him .   whatever  moments  she  had  once  enjoyed  with  him  had  long  since  become  entirely  hidden  behind  the  final  incident  of  their  relationship .        ❛      fine ,  william .   i’m  fine ,  thank  you .    ❜        she  doesn’t  offer  anymore  to  cushion  the  tension ,  no  wonder  to  how  to  how  he  was  in  return .   SHE  DOESN’T  CARE ,  &  she  wants  this  uncomfortable  for  him  ;   wants  to  watch  him  squirm .

❛     yeah  …   i  do  like  dogs .    i  don’t  get   too  fond   of  when  some    jump  up  on  me  but  generally   i  like  them .   probably  would  be   helpful   if  they  could  read   some   signs ,  though .    such  as  ‘ don’t  get  on  the  couch ’  or  ‘ don’t  eat  the  trash . ’    ❜
