I need to talk about how utterly devastating Daisy’s expression is when Daniel volunteers to stay behind in the finale (before Deke takes one for the team instead) because it genuinely makes me SICK to think about.

Look at her:

It’s her sudden realisation that the one thing- the only thing- that she has wanted for herself for years is being torn away from her again.

Because of course it is, just like everything else in her goddamn life.

Of course, just when she starts to hope for something, the universe steals it away from her. Because when has it not?

She almost looks betrayed- betrayed by herself if anything. Because she let her guard down, she let herself feel again, and it was all for nothing.

And the pure disbelief in her eyes, as if she can’t fathom that it’s happening again at first- genuinely the one thing she fears the most- is heartbreaking. It’s genuinely so, so shattering.

But HEY, it’s fine. Deke stepped in and now they get to live happily ever after, the end. :,D It’s fine everything is FINE.

01. compassion - before awakening in terrigenesis, compassion was her super power; it's at the core of what makes her a hero 02. creation - showing herself she's capable of more than destruction; "you could be magnificent." 03. fight with hive - using her powers in conjunction with hand-to-hand combat; capable to surviving the encounter with hive when no one else was able to 04. terrigenesis 2.0 - this time it's on her own terms; this time she's gonna bring hydra to its knees 05. graviton fight - becoming so powerful she can blast objects with enough power to leave the atmosphere, overcoming gravity itself; being shown to save the earth rather than becoming it's destroyer 06. shrike - forcing the shrike into a choke point and destroying thousands of them in one go 07. battle in outer space - willing to sacrifice herself to save the world; destroys an entire legion of alien spaceships and manages to survive outer space without protection, a feat that would be instantly lethal for most anyone else

When you’re at work and your coworker has her music connected to the bluetooth speaker and the song from the season 5 premiere comes on and you just start laughing to yourself cause all you can think of is Enoch diving in the pool😂
