Your favorite all-girl comic anthology is at it again with our newest Kickstarter, supporting the publication and artist payment for our TENTH and FINAL issue: DEATH.

Like all good things, Dirty Diamonds: an all-girl comic anthology must also come to an end. But we want to make sure we go out with a bang (never a whimper), so we've been working hard to put together our most fantastic issue yet!  

Featuring an otherworldly cover by Shivana Sookdeo ( @shivanasookdeo) and the work of over 70 creators from all over the world, this issue of Dirty Diamonds highlights the multitude thoughts, fears, hopes and experiences our artists have around the most universal theme of them all: DEATH

DIRTY DIAMONDS #10 is OPEN FOR SUBMISSIONS!

We are looking for comic proposals from female/femme comic creators for the next issue of our award-winning anthology around the theme of DEATH.

We are always looking for a wide and diverse range of responses to the anthology's theme, so take your time to think about the connections you have to the theme and what it means to you. We fully encourage pushing the theme to its limits and being as creative as you can be with it. 

You could cover: Death. Darkness. Closure. Endings. Passing. Finality. Loss. Silence. Mortality. Rest. Rebirth.

...Or anything else related to YOU and the subject of "DEATH."

Send us your ideas AND help us spread the word (And yes, there will be a Kickstarter to support the book coming in January 2020.)! 

All of the guidelines and the submission form are available on the Submit! page on our website, so check out the details and send us your comic proposals!

PROPOSALS ARE DUE by midnight on May 31st, 2019!

Its time to start poppin' bottles because...

THE DIRTY DIAMONDS ISSUE 9: BEING KICKSTARTER CAMPAIGN IS OFFICIALLY *OVER*!

This year we were able to raise $17,037 via 420 backers which will go toward making this book a reality and PAYING ALL 65 OF OUR COMIC CREATORS FOR THEIR INCREDIBLE WORK!

Thank you thank you !!THANK YOU!! to everyone who came out, shared, supported, pledged and genuinely really wanted to see us succeed.  You all are the best <3  

Now its time for us to switch gears and get this book to the printers as we will be premiering this gorgeous beast of a book at the Small Press Expo (@spx​) in Bethesda, MD on Saturday September 15th!

Dirty Diamonds #9: Being went live on Kickstarter today! Pledge and help @dirtydiamondscomic bring the latest volume of this all-girl autobio comics anthology to print. 

I am proud to be one of this year’s contributors, and above is a little preview of my comic about my experience with loosing my memories and sense of self after a traumatic brain injury.
