Stop making x readers physically descriptive/in favor of white people!!!!

Hey guys, this is a post talking about some of the fanfiction I’ve seen for stranger things. Now this is no hate to anyone who has written any fanfiction for stranger things. Work is work I think there are so many talented people on this app/platform that have written amazing stuff, however I have noticed that a lot of the X reader content is primarily subject to white people. No I don’t think there’s anything wrong with tagging Henderson!reader or things like that however it’s very un-inclusive. Even the Sinclair!readers that I have seen are there the reader is adopted and she/they/he is/are white. I think it’s super important that when you tag something x reader it applies to everyone meaning that there is no mention of hair color, skin color, or body type even, and if you’re going to tag the reader as another character (Henderson, Sinclair, Byers) be non-specific. I think it’s really important especially for things like fanfiction that it is inclusive and for everyone to be able to read. When it’s subject to just white people, that is unsettling, and I think that it’s wrong. I am posting this in relevance to stranger things, but I’ve seen this in almost every fandom that I have read at least, and I don’t think that it’s OK for the specific care physical traits (hair color/type, eye color, skin color, body type) of these characters to be interpreted. I’m not saying that the people who have posted stuff like this are racist or bad people, I just think it’s important that we start to change this narrative and be more inclusive to everyone who may want to read because that’s what I think work like fanfiction is for. It’s for everyone. again, I am not targeting anyone.

So I've recently been watching the Tobey Maguire spider man movies and....tell me why I've slowly fallen in love him?? Like I know he's known as the "less attractive" of the three spider men but like??? Him in these movies does something to me ok. But it wasn't like instant love, no it took time, about the middle of the second movie to be exact.
