A personal piece I created almost a year ago exactly, oddly enough. I wanted to explore one of the locations from the comic that’s been swimming around in my head for a while now.
I’m still pretty happy with it, but I can already see some things I would’ve done differently if I were working on it today. ^^

Tyrian Gazette’s Funding Campaign is LIVE!
This year, we’ve put together another ArenaNet-sponsored charity collaboration from the world of @guildwars2. From the GW2 Artist Collective, it features works from 82 different contributors that are making an in-world magazine.
In the book, we get a moment to see the world through the eyes of a citizen of Tyria, answering questions from what they would be told to what they’d see in their every day. It’s at times serious, and others funny.
The book is 8.5″x11″ with a holographic foil design on the front. The inside pages are 135lb art page stock, full color, with a matte laminate cover. It also features an unlockable slip case and more merchandise.
Pledges for this project are shipped in tiers based off of when you pledge, so the earlier you pledge the earlier your rewards are sent! It is also a limited run campaign. If you’re interested in limited edition items, we have signed copies from ArenaNet devs, specialty items donated from Guild Wars 1 and 2 and more.
Proceeds from the project will be going toward Extra Life!

Echoes of Thunder Campaign Update - 5 Days Left (Notes Below!)
Hey everyone! Thanks so much for all of your support for this @dragonprinceofficial project! We’re 91% funded and so very excited to see this happen. (Gogogo!) Our team wanted to recap some important items here that were posted in the update last night.
- We have extended the campaign. We got about 2 dozen requests to extend due to Friday being a payday, and we didn’t want to hurt anyone’s opportunity to get the book. However, since I’m out at a con in PA on Friday-Sunday, we moved the date back to Monday, July 29th, 11:59 PM PDT. This is the last (and only) time we’ll move it.
- We have $2683 to fund! If we maintain our average pledge rate (which the total includes shipping), we need about 49 people more to make this a reality. :D
- We found out yesterday that we actually had a discount missed in the quoting process for being a returning customer. While we can’t lower the campaign goal, we’ve adjusted the stretch goal for the larger books down accordingly. It will happen at >> $36,000 << instead of the previous number (and the other stretch goals have shifted a bit too). So if we get to that point… larger books (8.25"x11")! We’ll cover all shipping costs related to the bump-up.
- The next pledge goals consist of stickers (free!), a CMYK-foiled postcard (also free - pictured above by Doro!) and then the gift box.
- We also signed our agreements with one of our old partners, BackerKit! We’re excited to work with them again for the post-campaign. This means that we’ll be using their surveys to confirm information and so on. We’ll make a future update for this, so don’t worry about this now (it’s very easy to manage, we promise!).
- The “Version 1” of the Startouched tier is sold out, but we’ve added a second version which has a 15% discount (also with the free gift box if it’s unlocked). As a small note, both include the thank you credit listing.

Applications are OPEN for Echoes of Thunder, An Anthology of The Dragon Prince!
Echoes of Thunder is an art anthology of @thedragonprinceofficial , featuring over 70 artists from around the globe. We’ll be focusing on the characters in the series, as one of the things that makes the show so special is the adventures our heroes undertake. We’re aiming to create an artistic experience of the past, present and future actions that impact them.
In each of the six sections of the book, we’ll be illustrating the six core emotions through the characters, highlighting what marks them as individuals. It can be anything from Rayla’s fear of water to Callum’s determination to learn magic, from King Harrow’s pride to Zym’s innocence.
Put on by the @alchemyartgroup, we aim to continue working closely with the creators to bring this to life, honoring a series that we all love. Applications will be open until March 22nd, 2019, or until we hit the application cap (a 24 hour notice will be given).
