It is a painful truth that actually none of my fics are abandoned, no, not even the ones that haven’t updated in five years. I still know exactly what happens next, and after that, and so on. They’re not abandoned; they’re right here, haunting me, characters climbing up my pants like kittens nagging for dinner.

thank you!! it was honestly so nerve-wracking because I've almost accidentally said it so many times and I was like 'now is my chance' when I thought she was dead asleep 😅 but she woke up immediately afterwards and I tried convincing her it was a dream since I was really nervous that she didn't feel the same way yet. it took a lot of coaxing, but I eventually admitted to what I said and she said it back! and we've said it a few times since then, so I'm just really glad it worked out and I didn't scare her off or anything
I said I love you to my girlfriend for the first time when I thought she was asleep but her eyes shot wide open after I said it and I got SO ANXIOUS after it happened and ahhhhh
