Hiatus

Alright guys, it must seem as if I have fallen off the face of the earth. Luckily the earth is round and very hard to fall from, but still, I’ve been gone for a long time. And I will stay gone.

Short story; my life changed a lot and due to that, I don’t enjoy playing the Sims at te moment.

Long story: I started university. I had to move to the other side of the country (don’t worry, I have to drive 2.5 hours to visit my parents, the Netherlands are pretty small.) and live on my own for the first time in my life. The Sims has always a game I loved, but that required quite some energy, since I obviously didn’t play it as casually as “let’s delete the swimming pool ladder”. I have started playing other games that give me more relaxation, more excitement or more satisfaction. At the moment I just don’t feel like playing The Sims, and even cc creation doesn’t have its appeal anymore.

The direct cause of this post is that I need to clean up my laptop (moving on to another computer) and I decided to get rid off all my sims stuff. I however remember well how much joy the sims has brought me and how sad I was when a creator left and didn’t finish all the great projects they talked about. Therefore I have decided to release the files in my projects folder and some unreleased curves and downloads. I hope maybe some other creator decides to look at my projects and maybe finds inspiration to finish what I started, or to create a entirely new project with these resources.

The unreleased downloads and curves should all work, but I don’t remember at which state of testing they were. So I don’t guarantee that they work.

Thank you guys for all the great moments! Maybe I will return one day, maybe not. I expect this to be a permanent hiatus, but i can’t see the future: who knows what tomorrow will bring.... ;P

Aiday worked hard and is now allowed to fix the radio in coffee shops. She deserved a night off, so she went to a community lot. 

AAAAAAAAAND of course I forgot to check the lot after cleaning my download folder. XD

After a very serious night, Aiday became a bit more herself and played the entire morning games in her underwear.

Piano tuner is not really Aiday’s cup of tea, so she decided to skill a bit. If that wasn’t adult enough, she suddenly became very serious and read a newspaper. (In the same room with the laptop with games!)

While Aiday was gone, an uninvited guest played in the rain. Aiday only had a short moment to say hi before he left again.

First day of work: we got promoted! Now she can make sure that other people make the music, while she sits quietly backstage.

The next morning Aiday was very original and decided to have cereal for breakfast.

Bedtime!

One more game before going to sleep.

While the sun is setting Aiday talks again with Bairre. Apparently he had no problems with waiting while she took a bubblebath.

The new bubblebath has been tested. Conclusion: besides getting clean, you also get warm, wet and comfortable. 

A friendly townie called Bairre visited the lot and decide to try out Aidays new easel.

After finishing a game, Aiday decided to do something productive and she found a job. The Music carreer seems logical for a pleasure/fortune sim. 

We have a new house, no friends and a million things to do. What will we do first? Gaming. 

And a small bathroom. There is another little bathroom with only toilet and sink beside the study, but it is not really worth taking a picture of.
