i love that neil spends majority of aftg being like omg they cannot find out that there is something wrong with me i have to be normal. and everyone who interacts with him is like Bro what the fuck is wrong with you
Riko, Ichirou & "The importance of sibling bonds" ✨️
No one asked for it, but I needed to draw this scene 💅
Idk why. (Maybe because it's loaded 👀 with so many emotions)
The voices told me to share this
I don’t think Nora understands how feral I’ll go if jerejean becomes canon in tsc. I am going to be chewing on the walls like a rat I am going to be insufferable to everyone around me I am going to be mentally unwell
yeah, but if they don't end up there, I'll be happy too
actually in my head, jean aroace
Omg yessss I’d be so thrilled w aroace jean
someone name aaron’s baby for me thx
New year, new obsession 🦊
I'm glad I looked past the first sentences of aftg, which really made me want to just close the book and never open it again. After a while, I somehow fell in love with that mess 💓
No specific scene or anything, just thought about how I imagine Andrew, Aaron and Kevin could look like (kind of at least)

RL footage from when I had to name (and number) all 29 Trojans + their 4 coaches + their 3 waterboys/assistants + their 3 team nurses + their mascot
My absolute favourite piece of discourse started by the extra content is whether or not Andrew smiles again. Nora says no, however, he’s fictional and whatever happens after the end of the series is just headcanon, regardless of whether or not it’s the author saying it.
Anyway, my not so hot take is that a lot of people (myself included) relate to Andrew. Whether we’re survivors of csa, former/current foster kids or just struggle with mental health in general, a lot of people in the aftg fandom get it and have been in a (maybe not quite so) dark place like Andrew. Part of what makes Andrew fabulous, despite all his horrible actions, is his ending. He’s got Neil, a family, a future and he’s a massive symbol of hope for those of us who relate. So, I think he does learn to smile again, even if it’s a decade later. Because I want to keep that hope that things do get better and it’s possible to heal. It might not be realistic, but neither is anything that happens in the series. One day I want to be happy too, and if I want to project the idea of healing and having a happy family and a good support system onto a five foot tall fictional man I will.
why's the quality sm better on here than instagram istg. anyway hot neil ;)
so this is a poll for this one post i made basically asking
as always feel free to expound on your answers in the tags and comments :]
I like to think he hyped himself up to say something and he was so ready to do it then “doesn’t mean I wouldn’t blow you” came out of his mouth which wasn’t what he planned so he freaked out for 2.5 seconds before he realised it worked
Always prepared
Neil Josten is absolutely fucking incredible narrator.
He has his priorities straight and does not pay attention to anything else.
Do we know Katelyn's surname? Do we know ANYTHING about her appearance? Do we know anything about the appearance of HIS MOTHER? Yeah, she was short and ... and what? And NOTHING, THAT'S IT. She was short and paranoid. I'm sure we know about his father ONLY because they were similar and Neil had a couple of breakdowns because of it.
But let him start about Andrew's fucking broad and solid shoulders-
Neil loves being a person right like a bonafide, legal person. Neil also loves math. So really Neil doesn’t understand when it’s mid February and he overhears so many people start going on about “I don’t want to do my taxes it’s such a hassle” or “I can’t believe I owe money, I hate having to be a real person”
And Neil hates hearing it because he loves doing his taxes, because doing his taxes means he is a real person, specifically in the eyes of the law, and he gets to be this real person he’s become till he dies, and he doesn’t wish for that to come early anymore because he’s real and he has taxes. And taxes also comes with easy math that he can quickly do.
And to him it’s like when the staff at a restaurant sing you happy birthday really off key before handing you a brownie.
I just want everyone on Andrew’s professional team to think Neil is a bad influence. Sure, Andrew had a bad reputation in college, but in reality he's quiet and keeps to himself and never starts shit (even if he will finish it). Meanwhile Neil is loud and brash and has public feuds with at least 5 reporters at any given moment. He averages one brawl a game and is known to be arrogant and difficult to get along with.
Neil finds it Delightful. He's thrilled by the idea that there's a whole professional exy team out there that feels nearly as protective of his husband as he is
When Andrew tells him their captain asked if Andrew had ever considered divorce Neil practically threw a party. He owns more merch for Andrew’s team than his own.
I profoundly hate Thea's one scene in the books and most things in Nora's extra content, but this reply to an ask about Thea makes my blood boil:
Like????? Kevin marries someone who thinks "no harm no foul" about the abuse he suffered at Riko's hands??? Nah, you guys stay safe, I'll just keep pretending this doesn't exist, my boy deserves so much better.
