I've seen sooooo many fics where Malleus is courting y/n and gives them his "greatest treasure" or the "heart of his treasury" as a courting thing, and it's always some fabulous expensive jewelry or glamorous gem of a family heirloom.
But y'all.
We all know his most prized possession is Gao-Gao Dragon.

Imagine Malleus Draconia earnestly gazing into your eyes as he presses his prized tamagotchi into your palm. Your hands cradle the little device. His own lithe fingers wrap around them.
"He is yours to care for."
Youre breathless. And bewildered. Once you've discovered air again, your gaze seeks Malleus's for answers. You find only a soft verdant in his eyes. Springtime, and hope, and blossoming things. Affection like a birds song and warmth like down feathers. A world you could waltz in forever.
It is clear this gaze is meant only for you.
"Why?" You think you know.
"It is Briar Valley tradition," he begins. The tenderness in his voice makes your heart swoop.
"To vie for the affection of one whose love and affection we ardently seek with a gift." Malleus's lips curl into a smile. His thin slitted eyes narrow to teasing half-lidded pleasure at the growing red on your cheeks. Earnest as he means this to be, he cannot help but be tempted by your bashful nature. "One's most precious belonging, to be precise. For that is the only thing that comes close to the heart of one's most beloved."
Your heart thrums too loudly to think and you pull Gao-Gao against your chest.
"He'll miss you, you know. I doubt I can care for him as well as you always have," you admit. "We'll have to schedule plenty of play-dates with...?" Come to think of it, you can't recall if Malleus ever gave a name to Gao-Gao's friend. He had always called it just that.
It appears he hadn't, because there's a pause and a solemn hum as Malleus thinks.
"Roaring Drago," he decides.
"That's practically the same thing!" You laugh in fond protest. Malleus feigns a pout in return.
"I quite like it though."
He can't hold it for long before a smile breaks through his guise. Silence settles between you both- comfortable, but a little shy- until you feel soft lips pressed against your forehead.
"My dearest beloved," he near-whispers against your skin, "I vow to bring you all of the happiness in the world, as you have brought me."

Summary: What you thought would be a relaxing girls night quickly turns into an interrogation by Nat and Wanda about your non-existent relationship with Loki. After denying you are anything other then friends for as long as you can, you finally tell them how you really feel about him... and why you know he will never feel the same. The night goes from bad to worse when you realize Loki overheard you talking to them and you try to hide from him.
A/N: Loki is talked about in this part a lot but he doesn't really show up until the very end, don't worry he is going to be in the whole second part though. Also, I was going to make this one very long fic but @michelleleewise suggested breaking it into two parts so you can thank her for all the angst being in the first half and having to wait another few days for the fluff - love you @michelleleewise 💚

"Oh, come on Y/N," Natasha laughs as she sets the pizza box on the coffee table. "Just admit it and we can all move on with our lives."
"I can't cause it's not true," you tell her, looking down to avoid eye contact with the spy. You sit on one end of the couch and she sits next to you, you pass her and Wanda plates. "I'm disappointed, I thought you would be better at reading situations then this," you say sarcastically and she let's out a dramatic gasp, pretending to be offended.
"I think the real problem is you are worse at hiding your relationship with Loki then you think you are," Wanda says as she grabs a slice of pizza. "And since you won't just admit it, how about we review the facts?" Wanda asks with a wide smile before sitting cross legged on the floor on the other side of the coffee table.
"Oh, I can't wait to hear all of these supposed facts," you roll your eyes.
"Exhibit A, breakfast," Wanda says too excitedly for your liking, "Loki brings you coffee and something to eat every single morning. How do you explain that if the two of you aren't dating, hmm?"

Malleus
- You went to a cat shelter and saw a black cat with gree eyes. You asked about the kitten and it broke your heart when finding out that the cat hasn't got adopted because people fear him because of his reputation involving being unlucky right away.
- You adopted him and named him Loki. He was the depiction of Malleus. Black furr with green eyes. He is really sweet.
- You also got him a book about caring for cats along with cat necessities and decorated the box with neon green wrapping paper and Black ribbon. You cut holes into the box for the cat to breath.
- You headed to the Diasomnia dorm. Malleus was waiting for you and was opening presents that his members got him. Then you entered and He was happy to see, but what got his attention was the huge box. What did you get him?
- You told him happy birthday and placed the box on the table urging him to open it. So he did then he saw the creature. Malleus was speechless, how could a cute creature look like him. He picked up the cat to admire him up close.
- Sebek disagreed on the gift saying that this creature wasn't good for Malleus. Lilia taught it was adorable and took pictures. Silver is just sleeping on the couch.
- Malleus began to interact with Loki. Loki really seemed to like Malleus, he wouldn't detach from him. Loki became a knew close companion to Malleus.
- Wherever He goes Loki goes too, he takes him to class and sits him next to him so that he can learn what he is learning.
- Just like Rook's cat Loki also delivers you letters from Malleus to you along with roses he grows. He also accompany's you when Malleus can't
- He'll also chase mice that appear in the Diasomnia and bring them to Malleus to show him his catch. Malleus gives him a treat for his efforts.
- Loki is the only being that can sit in Malleus throne like chair, he often naps there when he feels like it.
- Lilia plays with the kitty on a daily, specially at night since Loki is nocturnal. He likes to squish the kitties beans for fun, he also takes pictures of him when he dresses him up.
- Silver doesn't mind him at all, he lets the kitty sleep with him. He once fed him a berry he had picked in the woods which Loki gladly eats.
- Sebek 'dislikes' the kitty but actually likes him, Loki sits on his foot until he gets attention which he gladly obligates because he is the cat of his master.
- Loki is a really child cat, he once took a nap with Leona which he didn't mind until he found out who he belonged to. He 'hates' but still lets him nap with him.
- Malleus takes pictures of Loki and Sends them to his grandmother. Now she wants to meet the furry creature. Black cats are very common in the Valley of thorns.
- Malleus calls Loki yours and his child. Since you gifted the creature to him, you're the kitty's mother. So he'll send Loki to spend time with you because why not. Loki is better company than Grim in his opinion.
- Loki loves you a lot. He once brought you a dead mouse from Diasomnia to prove his love for you.
Idia
- Idia has talked about wanting a cat for a while. He mentioned an anime about a cat. You already knew what to get him right away.
- A couple hours before his party, you picked up the grey fluffy kitty from the pet store. Along with other things that the kitty needed.
- Idia went to his room shortly after with Ortho. He waited for you but he preferred wait in his room. Until you showed up with a giant box wrapped in blue with tini skulls and a black bow.
- Could it be what he was thinkings?! He opened it and met his new furry friend. A cat?! His dream finally came true!
- He took the cat and hugged it, boy was he in love with the cat already. He thank you a lot and asked Ortho to look up info on how to care for a cat.
- Idia began to order stuff for the kitty. He got him whatever was suitable for his cat. He named him Lord, sort for Lord of the underworld.
- He spoiled Lord, gifting him treats for literally doing anything. He also has opened a social media account for his cat recording whatever cat thing he was doing.
- He was glad that his cat was an indoor cat, he couldn't bare the thought of his cat would be outside with normies. Once Lord brought him a dead mouse which Idia nearly died.
- He of course bought Lord Anime costumes for pets and he would try them on him plus take pictures and post them.
- Idia really loved him, he would cuddle with him while they slept.
- He also made Lord a tini back pack for him to wear incase he does have to go outside with Ortho. The back pack also allows Idia to communicate with him.
- Ortho adores him, he carries him around as he flies. Lord also likes Ortho.
- He bought himself along with Lord and you matching pjs because why not. Idia treats Lord like his child. He baby talks to often has him on his lap as he plays.
- He'd also brushes his furr to keep it soft and maintain. He loves it when Lord purrs as he brushes his hair.
- Idia also lays him on his back so that he can also squish his beans. He really likes his squish his beans like stress relievers. He also likes to feel his paws on his face.
- Lord likes to hang around you, he likes the attention you give him. He dislikes Grim. When he sees him, he'll hiss at him and try to swat him away from you because Grim is a bad influence on you.
- He also dislikes Ace, he'll chase him away from you. While Cater records this and posts it on Magicam.
- Lord cares about you as much as Idia does, they both love you a lot along with Ortho.

Been putting this off because I haven't felt like writing much lately, but this is a super cute idea and I'm ready to crank something out!
Summery: You invite Loki to join you while you paint a landscape. He decides he'd rather put you to paper instead.

Paint, Pencils, and Precious Love
It was astonishing what you could do with a palette of fifty-two colors.
You sat in the grass, legs folded comfortably as you studied you painting, propped up in the small easel. Your paintbrush dangled from you teeth, and your brows furrowed in contemplation. Your eyes darted between your landscape and the watercolor palette balanced on your knee, planning your next move.
Loki set down his sketch pad and slid his pencil in the metal spiral holding the pages for safekeeping. He craned his neck to see your work. The painting was done in greens and blues, and depicted the lake you sat at. The water was calm and serene, and reflected the image of the old tree that hung over it. You'd even added little ducks and a boat on the lake.
"It's lovely, darling." He commented, pulling your scrutinizing eyes away and to him.
"It needs something." You replied testily. "It needs more color, but I don't know how to work it in."
You turned the easel so he could see it better. Loki privately thought that every piece you created was perfect no matter what, but he assessed the work nonetheless, your words turning over and over in his head.
"You could take some liberties over here and add different plant life," He suggested, gesturing to the grassy riverbank. "Add some flowers, or perhaps make the tree bear some sort of fruit."

A/N: This is for the outstanding @thornsvultures as part of my ‘build-a-blurb’ follower celebration. I don’t know quite why all my Loki fics turn out to be a little sad, but this is what you get, and I did make it okay in the end, because this is me writing it.
The sun was setting, casting a rich golden hue over the landscape, creating an ethereal glow that bordered on magical. As he meandered along the parapet, Loki was blind to the beauty that surrounded him. While others would bask in the transcendent wonder and lovers would try to steal this moment to enhance their whispers of adoration for each other, his thoughts were elsewhere. It was something that was happening to him more frequently of late, ever since the last time he had been standing here on these very flagstones, looking out across Asgard.
