WANTED PLOT:  one more one night

it was only one night. that’s what they tell you. a one night stand. one night of passion, of fire lit fingertips tracing down your neck and back. that’s all it was supposed to be, and so that’s all it was. so you move on. you find the so called love of your life, the one you’re supposed to be with. you take vacations together and get a shitty little apartment and start thinking about marriage. you propose, and remind yourself this is how life is supposed to go. you convince yourself you’re happy. but then comes the engagement party. you’ve met their family before – but they had a sibling living overseas you’ve never met. your fiance said they were never close, but they were family, so they were invited anyways. you’d already met the parents. this couldn’t be hard at all, right? but then the one face – from that one night – walks in and it’s the most alive you’ve felt in years.
