He is dazed, his gaze locked on the Diamond Dusted night sky. During times like these, one might notice the difference in his eyes. Unbeknownst to himself, his eyes cloud over, giving him the appearance of being blind or even dead. It is a clear sign he is no longer human.
A single blink of his eyes as he brings his mind back to reality from a soft sound beside him and his eyes have returned to their natural violet hue. “Hello?”

Zack groaned softly against Xeha, having recently returned from a trip Home. He’d completed his work in a timely fashion and was able to pay his sister a visit. He gave a loud yawn, one niece against his side, the other in his lap. Though the movie playing was entertaining, he was simply too tired to keep his eyes open. And it wouldn’t be long before Xeha was to find Zack fast asleep, his head against her shoulder. He was always so comfortable here with her.
“Why do I hear children cursing in the worst possible way?”
