Adrinovember Day 1: Family
A soft knock on the door brought Adrien out of his thoughts long enough to register the presence standing behind him.
“Hey.”
He nearly turned around, but quickly thought better of it as he recognized the sound of his soon to be future husband standing behind him. “What are you doing?! I-It’s bad luck to-”
“That,” Nino said, moving up behind him and resting his hands on Adrien’s shoulders. “Applies only to brides, which neither of us are since you said no to the wedding dress.”
“White washes me out,” Adrien chuckled, hand wiping at his eyes and avoiding Nino’s gaze as his hands slowly massaged his tense shoulders. “I’m fine…”
“I know.”
“I’m…gonna be fine,” Adrien amended, rubbing his arm. “I just…I just wish that…”
“I know,” Nino sighed, hand toying with a lock of blonde hair. “You know, my parents offered to walk you down the aisle too?”
“I know,” Adrien sighed, shaking his head. “It’s…just not the same. And I know that’s not fair to say because your family has been so nice to me, but-”
“Hey,” Nino said softly. “Just for today…don’t worry about being fair. It’s not fair that neither of your parents are here to see you get married, or that my family takes up the whole damn church. It’s never been fair…”
“But,” Nino went on, hands steadying Adrien’s shaking shoulders. “Today is the last day you don’t have a family. You’re never gonna have to worry about nobody turning up for you ever again, okay? And if I have to spend the next fifty years trying to make up for the last twenty, then-”
Adrien’s hand reached up and squeezed Nino’s with a small sniff.
“If I have to spend the rest of my life making sure you’re loved, then that’s what I’m gonna do,” Nino said, leaning down and kissing the crest of Adrien’s head. “So save some tears for the altar, m’kay?”
“Kay…” Adrien said, squeezing Nino’s hand one last time. “I love you.”
“Not enough to look at me though,” Nino chuckled.
“I want to be surprised,” Adrien said, eyes closing. “The first time I see my new husband…I want to be surprised.”
“…still think it’s bad luck?”
“Luck knows no gender roles, Nino; we’ve been over this.”

I was just so inspired to imagine and to doodle Adrien’s visit of Nino’s family (ofc we have no idea how big or small actually his family is and how they look like, their traditions and etc) for Adrinovember Day 1: Family and especially after fics I’ve read about it (like @alya-bug‘s lovely fic, for example <3)
Just let me imagine something sweet and peaceful.

“Stop,” Gabriel snapped, interrupting Jagged mid-rant. “I have sat here listening to you rip apart four exceptional designs while completely sober, if I’m going to listen to you insult a fifth I need a drink first.”
Jagged grinned as Gabriel got up, crossed the office, and pulled out a decanter. “You need a drink already? Do I really have that much of an effect on you?”
“You know perfectly well what kind of an effect you have on me. It’s something like the effect a hammer has on one’s skull.”
“Pour me one, too.” Gabriel hesitated, but only for a moment. “You know, if we’re both drunk this meeting could get very interesting very quickly.”
“I’m sure I don’t know what you mean,” Gabriel said dryly. He handed the second glass to Jagged, then raised his in a mock toast. “Here’s to developing a touring wardrobe that actually meets your impossible standards.”
Jagged’s smile widened, and he raised his own glass. “To things getting interesting.”
I got to collab with one of the loves of my life, @mari-monsta /@maris-art-portfolio!!! she drew the sketch while I lined and colored!! this was so much fun to do!!!! I love these boys so much

I’m so sorry this took so long, I was really trying to get it where I wanted it! (Also, I’m dying. Finals suck. But at least I’m almost done!) Also, Marinette’s ring to Chloe, and Chloe’s ring to Marinette! Chloe’s ring to Marinette is the one in the middle in case it’s not obvious.
“You weren’t supposed to hear that!”
“Were you just-?”
“Please don’t finish that.”
“Practicing-”
“Marinette, I’m begging you to not finish that sentence.”
“Proposing?”
Groaning, Chloe scrubbed at her face with her hands as she turned and sat on the edge of the bed, Marinette coming to sit beside her a few seconds later.
“It was going to be a surprise for our anniversary,” Chloe muttered a few minutes later, pulling her hands away from her face as she fiddled with the ring she was holding, light glinting off the golden band.
They sat in silence for a minute, both of them staring at the ring twirling between Chloe’s fingers. The ring was small, a thin gold band with gold leafing on it, leading up to the gold rose sitting in the middle, a small diamond beautifully nestled in the middle. The silence stretched for a few moments more before being broken by Marinette’s thoughtful hum.
“I’d say yes you know.”
Blinking, Chloe turned to her girlfriend with a raised eyebrow.
“What?”
“If you asked me. I’d say yes.”
Mouth open in disbelief, Chloe watched as Marinette reached into her pocket, pulling out a small black box that made her heart stop. Marinette watched her with an odd half-grin as she opened it and turned it towards the blonde, showing off the half gold, half silver band with a small bee holding a diamond on it.
“Now I guess I’m asking, what would you say?”
Pulling her eyes away from the ring, Chloe blinked away the tears blurring her vision and turned back to her girlfriend, noticing immediately how nervous she looked with her eyebrows furrowed, her bottom lip pulled between her teeth, and her free hand fiddling with a loose string on the thigh of her pants.
Choking on a laugh, Chloe leaned forward, toppling the two of them back onto the bed as she laughed and peppered the other girl’s face with small kisses. After she had her fill for the moment, she managed to pull herself back, beaming down at Marinette.
“I’d say yes. Everytime.”

I am so happy to finally post this comic I did for @miraculouspridezine!!!
This was my first time drawing a comic and as far as I remember - first time drawing a humorous art as opposed to neutral/romantic/somber/angsty XD I was really nervous that I might not be able to pull it off or finish the piece in time - but now that it’s done I wouldn’t dream of drawing anything else for the cause!!
Poly relationships (especially with two boys and one girl) rarely get represented in media, even though they definitely exist and can be just as healthy as monogamous relationships!! With my contribution to the zine I wanted to shine a light on this and celebrate such relationships ^_^ Even though the pride month is over, I wish you all to have a very gay (in both meanings of the word) year and don’t forget to love each other!!! <3

The sun had risen some time ago, though the light was still dim, and Adrien’s room slowly brightened as the light leaked through the storm clouds that clustered outside, suffusing the room with an almost stifling warmth. Nino stirred lazily, and leaned into the comforting weight on his back. He didn’t know what time it was–was it even still morning, or had they passed into afternoon already? He was willing stay there with his boyfriend all day, without complaint.
His boyfriend. Nino grinned at the thought; such a simple phrase, but one that he couldn’t stop repeating to himself. He loved Adrien no matter what; they were best friends. But finding out after so long that his deeper feelings were, in fact, requited… Nino thought he might burst.
