I’m loving @goodnightpunks-art‘s game idea and their character Rue Dolores so much.!! I took this as an excuse to collage some pics that I’ve been meaning to for a while. (it kinda looks like a point-and-click game?)
This is some silly concept art for a made up comic/tv show I doodled a while ago. It stars a waitress who is approached by a mysterious regular at her diner who asks her to help save a magical bird kingdom in the sky. She sets off to investigate leads on the whereabouts of the kingdom’s lost faberge eggs and discovers that they lend her strange and fantastic powers on her journey..

I redid the menu screen for Star of Mine! I haven’t made much recent progress on the game itself, but I’m thinking of refreshing and solidifying all the screens and the GUI and then starting work on the game’s guts. As you can see, I’ve made a logo and couple animations. The load menu is not near finished, but I just showed a glimpse of how it will look similar to the menu screen. The current music is NOT my own, it’s just a placeholder (Suite Precure OST 1 Track 01)

This game follows Marie, a shy 5th grade girl. She takes comfort in her hobbies, primarily drawing a particular character of her own creation. While she finds enjoyment in creating, she is more reluctant about sharing her works. Can you really keep any of your insecurities hidden from middle schoolers, though?

This demo was made in 12 Days for Bubblegum Jam. If you play this game.. it’ll be pretty obvious it is nowhere near finished. I had much, much more stupidly ambitious plans for the jam, but this is what I managed to get done. The idea ended up getting bigger and bigger, and I think I only managed to get a fraction of what I hope it will eventually become into this short demo, but hopefully it might spark your interest in seeing a full game. With like, actual options, haha. I’ll be posting updates in the future if you care to follow along with how it will progress from here!

“Star of Mine” will be a short visual novel that centers around a young girl whose passion for art and shyness create the perfect storm - resulting in a fantastically embarrassing adventure.
Here’s the concept work I completed before the first of the challenge started. As you can see, it’ll be... pink. I’ll be posting my progress all this week from start to (hopeful) finish. This game is being made for Bubblegum Game Jam!
