What do you do when someone asks you to leave—then stay?

Do you go, like the former, or leave and allow the waves to break with the latter? There seems to be a timeline when it came to promises, a fixed date to fulfil your apparent duties—to become or to stagnate. But no one ever spoke about the ache that comes with it.

It starts in your toes, despite popular beliefs that pain begins in your heart. Though, you suppose it makes sense. The one organ capable of feeling often steals the spotlight. Yet, your toes propagate your journey. It is the pawn that allows you to take that first and dreadful step away.

hiatus (not a goodbye!!!)

i think this making post was a long time coming, so firstly i'd like to apologise on not making this earlier 😢

as most of you can tell, and by the lovely, lovely people who have been sending me asks wondering where i was/how im doing/saying that they miss my presence - i have been super inactive! (i truly do appreciate the asks and im so sorry for not replying to them 😭 but your sentiments have reached me and touched my heart ❤️)

i've been *extremely* busy over the new year, as well as these few months with university life and just life in general so updating tumblr/my writings hasn't been an utmost priority of mine. i truly do love writing for all of you, and as a form of escapism for myself but unfortunately, reality isn't so kind 😢

this isn't a goodbye!!! but i'd like to formally announce a hiatus until the beginning of June just so i don't worry you guys with my disappearance again (i thought i'd return but alas... life)

regarding my works: all my WIPs are still WIPs so please look forward to them in this upcoming year!! the one that is the most *ready* to be uploaded after my hiatus is my Hobi fic so i hope it'll serve as a cute welcome gift once im back from hiatus

thank you all for being so kind & patient with me ❤️ i've read through your asks (from the input on the rival!tae fic which i appreciate so so much; to just random updates and messages on how you're wondering how I'm doing - which im done great but just busy 🫠) and i would like to reply them when im a 100% sure i can stay active!

i'm in the midst of planning out for life (the rival!tae full fic) and i can only see it heading in a rather...dark direction.

aka minimal fluff, a lot of pain, not necessarily 'heartbreak' but life pains. i don't picture it to be a romance per say, but a devastating story of parenthood/motherhood and loss.

i wanted to hear you opinions on certain things i wanted to write about in for life since it was a highly requested sequel to the rival!tae drabbles
