so my uncle had a stroke back in 2021, and my ma has been taking care of him since it happened, living with him in new york and taking him to his appointments and stuff.
he recently got news that he'd be a good candidate for a procedure with stem cells that would help him regain more cognitive function, and he wants to go for it! downside - it's $11k. eleven thousand american dollars.
so my ma set up a gofundme. if y'all could share it, that'd be cool. anything helps!
okay so! since the scam bullshit back in early april my bank has been disputing part of the charge as fraudulent so I could get some money back. and I found out this morning that the dispute did not move in my favor! so I’m about to get all the money in my checking account yanked to cover the credit they gave me while the dispute was going on and will be in the negatives after the fact!
so uh. please help if you can! things are gonna be kinda bleak for a minute….
