Pg. 17 - Waves of Freedom

“You ever just wanted to just relax and enjoy life, Miss Susuna?  Just disregarding the pursuit of coin and the shackles of duty to have a day to yourself?”

“I’m enjoying life now, Miss Koyuki!  It’s why we have this thing of beauty cooked up by our very esteemed allies!  The gilded accents of the Thanalan desert, mixed with the beautiful blue embrace of Hingashi’s waters!  It’s loose, free-flowing, and of course, pleasing to the eye!  You’re a sapphire in the desert, and a ray of golden sun in the Ruby Sea!”

“My goodness - how descriptive!  And such lovely words deserve an appropriate name!  How about… Waves of Freedom?”

“I LIKE IT!” -Koyuki Koki & Susuna Suna

One of the many facets of fashion is the seamless integration of multiple aesthetics to create unique works of art.  This next addition to the Bandee Pakshee clothing line does just that thanks to the Madame Herself’s double: Zana Akhabila - aka “Blue Rommie”.  Many painstaking sessions of modeling and brainstorming was conducted for this particular item to see completion, but it was definitely worth it in the end!

This fusion dress she has coined “Waves of Freedom” takes from Hingan and Thanalan aesthetics - a callback to her roots as a Far Eastern Miqo’te, married with her time spent in the Desert Jewel. The most prominent feature of this kimono-choli is its stunning blue color (though it can be dyed to the wearer’s content).  The deep hues is a stark reminder to the ocean – to Zana, this is a symbol of untamed and free-flowing beauty.

The calming blue-to-violet kimono of the Ruby Sea mixed with the golden trim and stole of Ul’dah make this unique dress stand out.  The lack of sleeves, low neckline and ankle-length skirt allow this outfit to breathe with ease, and gives the wearer freedom of movement.  It is even rumored that the final product was woven with a special cloth that allows this dress to resist heat and moisture both to ensure it stays true to its name!

Flow without restraint throughout the fashion realm and shine as a sapphire jewel upon a sea of amber and gold.  The Waves of Freedom is your lightweight ticket to looking and feeling beautiful!

Pg. 16 - Knight of Golmore

“What say you, Miss Isja?  Does Madame Ritz’s attire intrigue you?”

“It does indeed, My Sultan.  Madame Ritz, though of the jungle, is still kin.  And this garb brings a touch of flair to the Green Word.  It is heartwarming to know that I am not the only Viera seeking to bring out the Power and Beauty of our race.”

“Such a proud set deserves a name befitting such.  May Madame Ritz Morningway be forever known… as a Knight of Golmore.”  -Isja “Coldgaze” & Thiji Higuri

From the vast and thick Golmore Jungle, the ravishing Veena of the Pakshee - Doctor Ritz Morningway - strikes into the haute couture scene with attire both chivalrous and tantalizing.

The Knight of Golmore is the result of her mind’s work, and covers the wearer in a bodycon one-piece petticoat with a scintillating cape.  While the suit itself is meant to show off the wearer’s lower extremities, they are also protected with plated thigh-length boots, offering a bit of combat practicality to the ensemble.

The outfit also comes with a decorative sabre that can be sheathed just below the hip.  Thanks to the rather revealing design of this piece, the more martially-inclined seekers of fashion can further accessorize themselves with additional armor or coverings as they see fit without drawing away too much attention on the suit.

Whether you are spearheading a bold expedition through one of Ethierys’s many forests, leading a parade through your favorite City-State, or just trying to show off those luscious legs of yours in style, the Knight of Golmore shall cut a fine figure in the fashion realm.

Pg. 15 - The Seeing Archon (aka “The Mocknickers”)

“This is a rather… interesting take on the appeal of Sages, Princess Telphie.  Have you any input?”

“Yes, actually.  The art of Somanoutics takes from several other fields - sorcery, medicine, and aetherology, to be precise.  These arts date back to ancient times, when tribes would heed the wisdom of their spiritual leaders - commonly known as Shamans. This attire pays homage to those bygone eras, effectively tracing Sharlayan studies back to its roots.  Thus we shall dub this ensemble: The Seeing Archon.”

“Oh, very astute, ma'am!  … But will Sharlayan even approve of such attire?”

“Of course they won’t, Miss Veeveena; that’s the point.”  -Veeveena Veena & Telphie Higuri

The esteemed courtesans of the Bandee Pakshee are head-turners.  But one in particular has a thing or two to say about a certain stuck-up City-State in the Northern Empty.  Making her way into the Pakshee clothing line comes Monika Soothsayer, whose own attire is something no one on Etheirys may have foreseen!

The Seeing Archon is this ensemble’s name.  Its less-known – but more humorous – epithet has been dubbed as the Mocknickers.  Monika took a most daring take on the shamanistic roots of Soumanoutics and brought it to life with this easy-to-wear getup.

While it can be an easy means of beating the summer heat or the humidity accumulating within an atelier or apothecary, this ancient Sharlayan ensemble is surprisingly practical, coming with its own utility belt and pouches for ingredients and reagents.  Whereas Archons usually have their tattoos etched upon their necks, the Mocknickers has them on the wearer’s chest, providing a sort of alluring trap for one’s eyes to suddenly gaze downward.

There can be wild cards in haute couture, and even in simple garments can one find Power in Beauty.  The Seeing Archon is definitely the outfit to wear if you want to become that sexy oracle next door (and make some nerds angry in the process)!

Pg. 14 - Resplendent Gale

“If Miss Cerise has been turning heads already, then she will be making necks ache when this ensemble releases.  It captures the very essence of the wind: untamed, wild… free.  Yet graceful in its own right.  My Sultan, this line becomes all the more impressive.”

“‘Tis part of my ambitions after all, Miss Isja.  Soon she will be diving and whirling through the aetherial currents… as a Resplendent Gale.” -Isja “Coldgaze” & Thiji Higuri

The fourteenth page of the Bandee Pakshee Chayan descends from immaculate wings of ivory and emerald.  The Resplendent Gale takes to the scene, and it is surely a dress to impress!

Taking inspiration from Ixali and even New World aesthetic, Cerise Maylithos - a self-proclaimed “Garuda Enthusiast” and master of Wind-aspected aether - has formulated a breezy ensemble that breathes just as easily as a zephyr.

Sacrificing allure for functionality (the original design was to provide tasteful under-cleavage in the torso area, as well as tribal tattoos), the seraphic wings are a more elegant take on the Lady of the Vortex’s form, and can even be tucked around the wearer for a more conservative visage.  The comfortable sash flows flawlessly with each step, topped off with a shimmering green-to-blue ribbon to wrap around the wearer’s shoulders and arms.

The Resplendent Gale rivals the Eikon Collection’s own Vortex Ballgown, providing a more tantalizing means to stand out in the realm of high fashion.  May those who don it leave all onlookers sighing just like the very zephyrs that kiss the body and caress the land.

Note: Resplendent Gale’s wings have been tested to fly at some capacity. Utilize at your own risk.

Pg. 13 - Ruby Whimsy

“Nature and freedom… mixed with allure and demureness… and a red-and-black finish!  A daring approach to one seeking the ways of the dancer!  A fine addition to the line, My Sultan!”

“Ruby Whimsy is what I shall dub this piece - a beautiful testament to a playfully bashful Sandpiper.” -Lilina Lina, to Thiji Higuri

The Black Shroud is a vast woodland that holds with it a great many secrets.   But such a dense canopy of forest is bound to hold its own wealth as well.  This lovely piece of Shroud fashion offers both mystery and wonder as it was created by the Bandee Pakshee’s own Khona Amorette.  Given her preferences of the “Ruby Goth” style, she has thus called her signature ensemble “Ruby Whimsy”.

As the Bandee Pakshee’s attire is primarily inspired by dancers, the dress itself is heavily inspired by Sylphic influence, adorned with golden leaves that drape over the shoulders, binding the whole attire together with a single black-and-gold fabric that trails along the ground.  The sheer, translucent red fabric playfully covers the exposed areas, leaving room for the imagination for the onlooking masses.

A ruby sash around the wearer’s waist helps with maintaining some form of decency, and the veiled mask and circlet highlight the shy and reserved temperament of the Moon Keeper.  This dress makes one feel light as a cloud, dancing like a ray of red sunlight across a clear sky.

Got something to hide?  Or perhaps you enjoy the Sylphs’ mischief?   Whatever your reason may be, the Ruby Whimsy is the ideal outfit for the blushing beauty, the demure dancer, and the passionate paramour.  Add a sanguine touch to the fashion world and bring with you the sweet mysteries of the Black Shroud!

Pg. 12 - Paglth’an Wanderer’s Sari

“It’s nice to see the Tribal Races getting some recognition, finally!  Just check out that design!  It blends Amalj'aa AND Hannish aesthetic!  We’ll call it - the Paglth'an Wanderer’s Sari!” -Lelena Lena

Ever the advocates for positive relations with the various Tribes, the Bandee Pakshee has been one of several organizations to provide new opportunities for these individuals.  Zahajj Boh – one of the many Tribal Races in the Pakshee’s retinue – has been given the esteemed honor of making his own mark in the fashion realm through his own work: the Paglth’an Wanderer’s Sari.

Combining the styles from the golden plains which inhabit the indigenous Amalj’aa with the ever-vibrant colors of the Near East, this sari releases as the ideal attire for the nomadic warrior race.  The gold-and-red blends well with the desert, and its loose fabrics allow for easy movement.

For those individuals who would prefer a bit of protection during their travels, the Wanderer’s Sari is complimented by high mithril plates that are strategically placed around the fabric to allow equal parts function and form.  Such an ensemble would undoubtedly find purchase with the Warrior Monks of Ala Mhigo (for instance), or pilgrims making a journey through the harsh and unforgiving desert.

May those who don the Paglth’an Wanderer’s Sari find the Nirvana they seek within the haute couture world.  Make your trek in style and in comfort, and spread the good name of the Amalj’aa all at once!

Pg. 11 - Sylphic Glamour

“Copious amounts of sylphic silk in exchange for a unique dress…?  Not the most peculiar of trades, but a welcome one.” -Thiji Higuri

Another Black Shroud specialty graces the Bandee Pakshee Chayan.  Head Chef Rixy Sylwest has brought forth inspiration in the form of a leafy ballgown thar brings with it a familiar… air.

Intriguingly dubbed the “Sylphic Glamour”, this one (verdant outfit) is rife with curves and designs one would find in any Sylphic settlement.  Woven with silk belonging to the aforementioned tribal race, it is yet another testament to the growing friendship between man and Sylph.  Two larger “vines” protrude from the back, resembling wings usually seen by the whimsical race.

Another interesting piece is the leafy brassiere that covers the wearer’s chest; no strings or straps can be seen that keeps it aloft.  How is that possible, one might ask?  While the Higuri Regalia is capable of performing the impossible, the only true conclusion as to how such an article of clothing can be held up on its own is:

Aetherial manipulation.  Or simply: Magic.

How peculiar, indeed, that the renowned Master Chef of the Pakshee (confirmed of higher rank than Diamond Chef) would stake her own claim upon the haute couture world, but this one has definitely done a fine job doing so.

The elegance of nature breathes through the Sylphic Glamour, and those who don it will feel right at home as they gallivant through the realm of high fashion.  A must-have for well-dressed ones!

Pg. 10 - A Lily in Moonlight

“In another realm exists a powerful Stylist, and its people’s conflicts were settled through battles of fashion.  Miss Azulae’s aesthetic reminds me of that woman - a delicate youth whose power shone when it mattered.  And now she can be immortalized through her own Designer’s Reflection: A Lily in the Moonlight.“  -Thiji Higuri

The tenth page of the Chayan presents a nightgown with a considerable level of influence from Sharlayan Astrology.  Azulae Llygaid steps down from the lunar host to bring A Lily in Moonlight to the public.

Equal parts elegant and stylish, this nightgown ensemble is adorned in crescent moon motifs and stellar patterns, set against a rose gold canvas that glimmers like the very celestial bodies which dot the evening sky.  The flowing dress can be worn over the camisette to provide a billowing cape-like appearance from behind.

A crescent necklace also comes with this piece, and shines with the same silver as the star of Menphina.  And while not inherently part of the attire, lunar tattoos have been shown at Azulae’s request, further solidifying her love of the moon and its illuminating beauty.

Perhaps a lovely sight for the Lopporits who dwell upon the moon, this nightly garment can be worn on any occasion - from the bedroom to the ballroom.  Don this flowing dress and blossom into the fashionable flower that you were born to become!

Pg. 8 & 9 - Molning Gown (Steppe & Golmore Variant)

Some summers ago, two of the Bandee Pakshee’s own staff had fallen in love with one another.  It had reached so high a point in their relationship that they had decided to become eternally bonded, and as such, the looming thoughts of what to wear for the wedding come to mind.   Thankfully the Pakshee has a powerful ally capable of creating something unique.  These very outfits have been added to the Bandee Pakshee Chayan in hindsight as a result.

Adequately dubbed the “Molning Gown”, this attire was the wedding dress of choice for both Doyi of the Mol, and Ritz Morningway, created by Lord Thiji himself.  The gown comes in two variants: the former, worn by Doyi, is made in the traditional Steppe aesthetic, and bears the symbol of the indigenous Xaela clan.

The latter that is seen on Ritz has a more Golmorran touch, sporting a cloak for ample protection from the elements, as well as allowing for more freedom of movement in the upper body.  The cloak itself can be worn over the gown for a more woodland guise – a personal effect made at Ritz’s behest.

Another score has been made for the Mol clan of the Azim Steppe, giving the fashion realm another taste of Othardian culture!  Whether you’re desirous of something befitting a Xaelic outing, or just want to represent your clan, the Molning Gown is your ideal choice!

(NOTE: The gown itself, while named after the Mol, can be used and colored accordingly with any other Steppe tribe.)

Pg. 7 - A Hymn to Luxury

“Gold and violet truly does make a beauteous combination for the wealthy.  And Baatu’s sense of opulence may one day prove even a match for Madame Z'zhumii herself!  His tale shall be known to all, and such a story deserves a name befitting his attire - A Hymn to Luxury!” -Susuna Suna

Even those who provide the comforts of a pillow house deserve to indulge in the glories of excess.  Baatu Kha takes to the scene with his own vision made manifest that he has called: “A Hymn to Luxury.”

This ensemble has more gold than an Ul’dahn treasury, with all the jewelry and embellishments one could ever desire.  With a cape of gilded shimmer, violet sarouel embroidered in a unique diamond pattern, and a crown to mark one’s status, this piece of work is ideal for lounging and beating the hot midday sun.

But what good is a lord of luxury without a throne?  That is correct: for the first time in perhaps all of fashion history - and thanks to the ingenuity of the pleasure-seeking Xaela - this attire comes with your very own throne – created in a radiant sunburst design, and constructed with a metal of your choosing!  This frivolous furnishing will be sent and delivered to your destination along with the attire.

Raise a glass and enjoy the finer side of haute couture as you become the monarch your subjects need.  They will sing A Hymn to Luxury, and know you are their appareled master!

Pg. 6 - M.I.T. (Medically-Inclined Traveler)

“Battle damage is wont to occur out on the field.  Some people consider it a badge of honor.  But all this and the constant staring down of death in the face are merely the wages of the Medically Inclined Traveler.”

“Miss Sarielle, you are a genius.  That is what we shall call this: the M.I.T."  -Thiji & Sarielle

Making its way into the Bandee Pakshee Chayan is an attire thought up by one of their medical staff – Diarana Ray.  The Garlean Medicus wanted to find her own means of making a lasting impression in the realm of high fashion, and has done so through the outfit she has dubbed the Medically Inclined Traveler, or “M.I.T.”

Standing out from your typical chirurgeon or conjurer, this attire was made entirely with practicality in mind, with boots and stockings to allow for easier movement, while the top itself is designed to distinguish the noncombatant field medic amidst the chaos of battle.  The large skirt brings some cute flair, woven at the perfect height so as to not make it seem promiscuous.

The outfit also comes equipped with a knife holster (knife NOT included) that is strapped at the thigh, as well as several pouches for medical supplies and other field necesseties.  Unfortunately, the magitek arm does not come included with this ensemble, and was instead shown at Diarana’s behest, but negotiations with Princess Telphie may be made to provide a secondary prosthetic thanks to the power of soumanoutics.

The Medically Inclined Traveler is the ideal wear if you aim to provide relief or succor during an adventure or expedition, while also showing off your fashion acumen a little!  Be the guardian angel of the haute couture realm – because everyone eveywhere could use a medic.

(DISCLAIMER: wear and tear was shown at the creator’s behest.  The Higuri Regalia ensures the final product will always be in pristine condition.)

Pg. 5 - The Captain’s Regalia

From the high seas of the Rhotano and the southern islets of the Cieldalaes – all around the maritime regions, talks are ablaze about the latest in privateering fashion.  Lady Rheya of House Laruzedah – the Madame Herself’s “Ray of Sunshine” – comes to port with the Captain’s Regalia (not to be confused with the Higuri Regalia).

The seafaring Keeper has taken Lominsan aesthetic and added her own subtle twist, presenting a jaunty tricorn, made to comfortably fit upon the head and provide ample space for the ears of other races (our sincerest apologies to Viera).  The outer coat bears the Lominsan colors and designs, with heel-less boots to stride across any port or storm with ease.

But say someone decides to question your choice of attire, specifically the outer coat.  Take that off, and what then?  Rheya has the answer to that as well: the inner shirt, pants, and gloves of gunmetal grey bring out the leisurely side of pirating; equal parts form and function, you’re already prepared to take to the streets and spend the booty of successful plunder after hanging up the overcoat.  Who says being a pirate can’t be glamorous?

While the outfit itself may or may not be within regulations of the Maelstrom, after a considerable argument can be struck with a certain Admiral, the Lominsan Navy will get the glow-up of the era as this becomes your one-way ticket to a privateering license!

High seas and high fashion collide as one with the Captain’s Regalia.  Raid the great oceans in style and perhaps one day, your tale may rival even that of the legendary Mistbeard!

Pg. 4 - Gelmorrian Nights

“A Thousand and One Gelmorrian Nights, or simply ‘Gelmorrian Nights’ for short - an alluring play on Gelmorra and Thavnair, and a testament to the hidden beauty of Duskwight aesthetic.”  -Telphie Higuri

Duskwight fashion has been wanting for quite some time now.  The Bandee Pakshee’s HR Lead has something to say about that!  Reneeia Belloq brings forth a spicy addition to the PiB Catalogue that will surely rival certain other items (regulars will know which ones)!

The “Gown of Gelmorrian Nights” takes a stroll down the risqué, presenting a sleek dress with great décolleté made from a dark black leather made, patterned to resemble snake scales.  The top portion of this piece is trimmed with the softest of furs and studded with white gems for a sparkling finish, adding style and comfort.

The violet sash of silver bells is a personal touch of Reneeia’s – a small accoutrement that was her own personal means of showing her clients’ affection; were someone to gain her favor, she would detach one of the bells and bestow it upon them.  On the contrary, should they earn her ire… you will have to find out for yourself.

Thavnair and Gelmorra.  Two city-states blend as one with the creation of this moss seductive dress.  Surely to be a hot ticket for the women, the Gown of Gelmorrian Nights stands out in the fashion realm with its dark allure.

Pg. 3: Lunar Leisure

“Within the vast and shrouded sea of stars, an ephemeral maiden clad in silvery-white reclines upon the crescent moon, gazing upon all in sweet silence as she brings the Lover’s light upon the land…” -Thiji Higuri

At first glance, attire number three of the Bandee Pakshee Chayan appears as a blessing from on high.  A luminescent dress invented by Alicen Forcina ( @the-dancing-sage), the Bandee Pakshee’s Matron, coined: “Lunar Leisure”.

With woven cloth both fine and light, this moonlit maxi dress shines with a flawless silver-white, complimented by a blue-and-gold sash with lunar motifs and embellishments.  Comfortable open-toed sandals are granted as part of the ensemble in place of going barefoot.  The shimmering shawl wrapping the shoulders is meticulously woven with lunar aether, using esoteric alchemic techniques to create its luminous sheen.

The Keeper of the Moon blessed by Menphina found inspiration through the selfsame Goddess, and married the design with her extensive knowledge of Sharlayan Astrology to create a unique piece of leisure attire for the easygoing - or studious - types.

Alicen Forcina, a Professor in her own right, has made her mark in the realm of high fashion, with some divine aid.  And now seekers of haute couture (not to exclude actual Seekers of the Sun) may feel the gentle yet soothing embrace of Menphina, the Lover.  May those who don the Lunar Leisure glide upon the road paved with stars, and shine over the fashion realm with the silvery light of the evening star.

Pg. 2: Spirit of Lyule

“Spirit of Lyule.  A fitting name for the Hannish Miqo'te who seeks her place in the realm, and a testament to the dancers of eld who performed unfettered."  -Thiji Higuri

This next piece of attire was created by the mind of Cia Lyule, the Keeper-Seeker hybrid daughter of the Near East.  A simple yet no less alluring take on the New World style, with a frilled skirt and brassiere of piercing red, embroidered with blue patterns to make the piece stand out - like rivers running across a crimson skyline.

The blue silken veil accompanies this outfit, and is a key item for both aspiring dancers and experts of the art.  The inspiration of the blue patterns comes from Cia’s unique ability to augment her dancing prowess via the use of runes, and affirms the spirit of this ravishing Miqo’te.

The Spirit of Lyule will tantalize and captivate the senses.  Twirl with the power and beauty of an azure-teemed crimson flame as you dance your way into the echelons of the fashion realm!

Pg. 1 - Queen of Hearts

“My Sister’s always had her own special way of standing out, and now she can do so through her own exclusive attire.  Behold, and bend the knee before Andromeda Laruzedah, the Queen of Hearts.” -Thiji Higuri

Starting out the Sandpiper line is a dapper and sexy ensemble created from the mind of the legendary rags-to-riches Brume orphan, Andromeda of House Laruzedah.  Dubbed the “Queen of Hearts”, The proprietress of the Bandee Pakshee makes a stark entrance with a form-fitting suit-and-pants combo made from gaja leather, accented with long, black heeled thighboots.

The burgundy coat is made from the ever-popular Hannish silk, with a gold brocade pattern of Ishgardian nature - a callback to her roots - topped with the Pakshee’s crest by the lapel as a broach.  The final piece of the ensemble as an extra feature is the cane-like parasol created with a red-and-gold gradient, matching the outer coat.

No self-respecting seeker of high fashion would dare settle for such lowly tatters.  This attire - and the Madame Herself - is incontrovertible evidence that even thieves can become royalty with the right moves, and the right hands.  Steal the eyes and minds of your onlookers as you stride with the seductive confidence that only a queen among thieves (and hearts) can bring!

NOTE: Pricing of the ensemble may or may not be set at the same rate in which the Madame Herself provides her services (i.e. 1 Million Gil per hour).
