Meat and Apples – WIN your followers over with this EASY classic dish
Wel come to my kitchen. Look like a total pro when you serve steakhouse quality meals from your own mess hall. So juicy, so tender, and yes we’re talking about the apples here because you just don’t see those in every dish. You won’t be able to stop at just one, once you taste these addictive apples. They fall right off the bone!
You can’t help who shows up to your BBQ but you CAN choose what to wow them with. I was in quite the bind when a Klingon warship showed up on my front porch—only fourteen weeks after the holy month of Nay’Poq! I knew I had to elevate dinner to the highest standard or be challenged to a fight to the death. That’s when I remembered this dish.
Apples were a truly a staple in my childhood. You weren’t a guest in the Paris household until you tried my mother’s
Ingredients
Meat. Apples.
It doesn’t get easier than this, folks. For a truly finger-licking combo you might try Ambrosia with prime rib, but granny smith and ground beef will do in a pinch. Just don’t forget to remove the membrane.
How to prepare
- Bring your apples to room temperature
- Cook the meat (optional) – it’s so simple even a replicator can do it!
- Butter. There’s no better sauce. Don’t forget this step or you will have no flavor and your guests will order pizza instead. Or, you know, kill you.
- Carefully arrange apples and meat on the largest platter you have. A kitchen island could suffice if you are doubling the recipe.
- Serve!
Remember, absolutely do not set out silverware. Be aware that guests may bring their own knives if you forgot to confiscate them at the door.
So delicious, it’s a guaranteed hit in every quadrant. You’ll be making this over and over.
