What is the Philippine anti-terrorism bill and what you can do about it (for both non filipinos/filipinos)

Im sure a lot of you have seen posts about this but this bill is at the verge of passing and its going to affect millions of people’s lives in this country.

But in summary the anti terrorism bill is the right of the military or police to detain any citizens if they deem them to be a “terrorist” (this is without warrant of arrest, you’ll literally just go straight to jail). This is what they consider as acts of “terrorism”:

Vague right? This bill can result in so much damage and abuse in power, which can lead to more brutality and deaths enacted by the military/police forces.

(Translation of 1st sentence in 5/5: “its possible that this can be used to target people who critic the administration.)

So what can you do about it?

The PH Government doesn’t look over petitions (especially right now since the president declared this law as “urgent”). Directly protesting is dangerous for us filipinos but we shouldn’t be silent about this matter! And we need outside help MORE than ever!!! Here’s what you can do:
