i’ve been reading and skimming some course literature for my upcoming courses and i have to say i feel so blessed that i get to study anthropology after a year of uncertainty and i can now begin molding my life into its desired state,,, i’ve also thought about signing up for some more courses but that decision comes only after/during the first week of courses so i can see what the workload is like with my current choices, i’m still highly interested in some anthropology courses and gender studies (tho with the latter decision i have time only until the 24th of this month)

honestly, i wasn’t planning on taking AS chemistry and would’ve preferred to take history in its place, but i plan to study computer engineering so it was the better option. it’s not my favourite, but i don’t mind it unless it involves organic chem (I HATE that.) so far it’s going alright but it’s,, a lot. i struggle with it sometimes, but it is what it isss ✌️

19.08.2020 / You guys must be tired of these pictures of my handwritten notes because they all look the same but I swear they are different lmao I signed up as an audit student in a post-graduation class about modern and contemporary documentary and it started today! I’m super excited to be back to class, even tho it’s online and only once a week. Documentary is probably my favorite study subject and I think the class will be great to help me structure my PhD project.

the first day of school doesn’t feel quite right when all of my classes are virtual, but it’s nice to get organized again. looking forward to a productive year!

Friday 21/08 

mid day perk me up because i fell asleep after lunch... this is a green tea sachet with the sugar sifted out of it with half a teaspoon of coffee! it's enough to perk me up but not enough for me to power through an all-nighter, which is good because i have a 9am lecture tomorrow!

ah, I better spend the quarantine somewhere in the small town in the south of France or Italy, bake bread, sunbathe on the balcony and live with my loved one

Did a bit of work today, then went to town, tidied my flat (I LOVE my new hoover) and then I baked some gooey brownies! Last night I zoomed a friend and she said I seemed so gutted that I hate don’t love my new job that she’s coming down for the day next weekend! Can’t wait to see her! Today I managed to track down some cheap scrub tunics so now I just need to scrounge another pair of trousers 👩🏼‍⚕️
